Does anyone have, or know where I can find a save state or a ROM with a saved game that is at the beginning with all Rages, Lores, and items; like a new game was started but everything was kept?

Not sure about a save state, but if you use Zsnes you can plug in Game Genie Codes from the start. Eyes on Final Fantasy has a handy text page with Game Genie codes for just such an occasion.

I don't want to enter 255 or more lines of code and have to search each one for mistakes when something doesn't work. I'm not asking for someone to do this for me and send me the save state. But if there is a trustworthy save or save editor that gives everything from the start that has been used, with good results, by other people, I'd like to have it.

why? you're basically asking about how to cheat your way through a great game. if you were a true fan...try beating it first...then cheat (if you haven't)...or better yet...DON'T CHEAT AT ALL!
Moderator Edit Are you looking to get warned? He just asked for a state, and you judged him for doing it. Knock it off. -R51 Edit sorry... This post has been edited by dont chocobos rule? on 11th October 2005 02:05 -------------------- Aujourdhui a commence avec toi. |

I've already played through the game, and I would like to play through it again without missing anything. I have saves with powerful characters in a lot of my games so I can play through and focus on the story instead of focusing on not dying so much that I lose track of the story.
I don't like missing things and would like a save where I start with everything. I would like to pay attention to the plot rather than pay attention to a list of "lost-forevers". |

I looked at the New Game + patch and it sounds good. But I don't want something that would make my stats increase as I collect items. I plan to play a few times, and I would like to be able to play through with everything that can be missed.
I checked a few save states, and the ones that gave 99 of every item also increased level and stats. I didn't see one that gave 99 of every item and all skills(Lores, Rages, Dances) at the beginning of the game. Is there a save editor that would activate all skills for the appropiate character and can set all items to 99? This post has been edited by Frankmaster on 13th October 2005 12:24 |

Yes.
http://www.angelfire.com/pq/jumparound/ Find the editor called "FF3h." You'll have to run it in DOS, but don't let that scare you. It can do whatever you need it to. -------------------- Food is like magic in my ears. - Djibriel Ogopogo lives. |

It didn't work, I can't seem to get DOS programs to work on XP, but thank you anyway.
I also used DOSbox, but that didn't work either. This post has been edited by Frankmaster on 17th October 2005 12:56 |
