You can only equip one, I say, ONE esper per character. Listen to me when I'm talkin' to you, son. (Nice kid, but he's got noob questions on the brain.)

 To the point, I don't really understand what you're asking. Only one Esper can be equipped to each character at a time. Could you elaborate a little on what you mean? Edit Drat! Newbie huh? well i'm not sure what you're getting at. Equip four espers? i remember only equiping one esper per character. Could you give us some more info on the subject?.

Yeah, you can equip only one Esper to any character ( well with some exceptions...), and that Esper can be summoned once per battle. If you are playing a rom, at least you can try patching, at least to summon an esper more than once time during a fight...here is the link:http://www.rpglegion.com/ff6/hack/patches.htm

The reason that everyone only IMO can equip 1 Esper is because they all (I think) use Red magic.
