i dont think you can find them in the wild. the only time you can get a uribo is at the battle with tons of chocobos (name?) and you need a mediator with the train support skill. what you do is to attack the uribo until its critical, DO NOT KILL him. when it goes critical, it will automatically join your party. however, only attack him with the mediator, anyone else wont work. Then let him sit in your party for a while, soon, you'll have tons of uribos.

Some Uribos comes on End ( Deep Dungeon), If I remember correctly... the only way to have a Wild Boar is breeding, BTW..so you'll need an Uribo or Porky first...( correct me if I'm wrong, I actually never tried to have Ribbon...)

Why would he need to have a mediator with train? it's toatally useless unless you think the Mediator's abilities are optimal taht that equipping Guys is so good.
Reis as Train inherent as a dragonner but she's way too powerful physically, she'll just 1 hit kill or the first punch will put in critical state (invite) and the second will kill the enemy. END level of the deep dungeon has a battle almost filled with porkies & uribos. About 8 enemies, something like 50% being an uribo, 25% a porky, 15% a black mage and 5% an archer... That was totally random just to say most enemies are uribos and some porkies. Still, watch out for battles with hydras/Tiamats and red/black chocobos. -------------------- Sayonara |

END has the highest normal enemy concentration of Uribos, but you can find them earlier on, too. In the first Zigolas Swamp battle, one sometimes appears; one can appear in the Finath River storyline battle; one can appear in the Goland Colliery's third floor (the one with the dragons).
END's still your best bet, since you can get a wave of Porkys/Uribos all at once, and sometimes without accompanying humans, if you're lucky. -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |

You can also find them in Dolbodar Swamp, near Limberry Castle.

There is one that will always appear in the game on the third level of the (correct me if I'm wrong) Goland Coal city?
I haven't played all summer, so my memory is starting to go to hell. ![]() -------------------- "There is not a liberal America and a conservative America - there is the United States of America. Quote (Dark RAM @ 16th September 2005 10:04) so the "end" is the best bet for an Uribo? Thanks for the help Yes, the larger congregations of Uribos/Porkys is in END, but you can find them dotted around earlier battles, too (and they've already been said). I do believe the earliest spotting is at Zigolas Swamp storyline battle (Chapter II). It can let you accumulate a nice little stockpile of poachables early on, but it won't do much as to obtaining those rare items--Fur Shops don't open until the third chapter. -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |
