Okay. Just post what games you're most looking forward to so far as far as next gen games go. I'm just gonna post the games that I'd buy for my next gen systems.
<Revolution> -Super Smash Bros. Revolution -Zelda Revolution -Mario Revolution (Thats really all thats confirmed, so...) <XBox 360> -Gears of War -Halo 3 -The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion -Perfect Dark Zero -Dead or Alive 4 -Quake IV -Project Gotham Racing 3 -Lost Odyssey -Resident Evil 5 -World of Warcraft <PS3> (Since I'm not buying it....I'll just say....) -Killzone 2 So, any thoughts? What made YOU say "wow"? Well, I'm only getting a PS3, and you two have already covered the other two platforms pretty well. The only game that I've seen in action of these is DMC4, which looks amazing and had me almost salivating, but the others are near-certain titles within the next three to four years.
PS3 Devil May Cry 4 Final Fantasy ____ God of War 2 (too successful and acclaimed to not have a sequel) Star Ocean 4 (could be multiplatform, but 2 and 3 were Sony-only...) Soul Calibur IV (it probably will be multiplatform, but III is PS2-only, so...) Also, Shin, keep in mind that Tecmo has stated that while 360 is getting first billing on most games, the PS3 technology was attractive enough for them that they are strongly considering ports. I'm willing to bet that we'll see DoA4 on the PS3 evenutally. -------------------- |

I'm mostly looking forward to new games in old series: Fatal Frame, Silent Hill, Suikoden, etc. Edit Quoted too much. OMG, I can't believe I left off Resident Evil 5, considering I want it more than any game....*sigh*
Also, WORLD OF WARCRAFT ON 360!!!!!!1111!!1!!!ALT+!1!!!!!111!!! Not at launch, but Blizzard said it'll happen. Revolution
SSBR New Zelda Mario 128 New Donkey Kong Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (Online most likely the way this game was MEANT to be) RE 5 ( I can hope  )Also the new franchise launching with the Revolution HAS to be good. So that too. Xbox 360 Oblivion Ninja Gaiden sequel Possible Fable Sequel Halo 3 RE 5 PS3 Metal gear Solid 4 Devil May Cry 4 Lair RE 5 Also Shin when did Blizzard officially announce this? "We've been in contact with Microsoft...," said Paul Sams, vice president of business operations at Blizzard. "World of Warcraft was really built with a focus on PC, and while I think it certainly could get to Xbox, it's not something that at this moment we've decided to do."
That's what I read. Sounds doubtful but still a possibility. |
