Who is voting in the GameFaqs character battles?

Just wondering if anyone on the site is voting in them, the 2nd round starts on 8/20 (or Saturday). Some FF characters are on it (Yay on sephiroth, cloud and especially LINK!!)
anyways just wondering if anyone is voting in them and who. I am votting for LLoyd (Tales of Symphonia), Ganon (Zelda), Auron and Tidus (FFX), to name a few. |

I stopped caring after they did the same thing for the sixth time in a row.

This is the first year I've really dealt with it at all, and that only because they featured the King of All Cosmos in one of the match-ups. Unfortunately, he was paired off with Tidus, so we all know who won.

Vyse was paired off against Tifa in the first round this year, and Ramirez went up against Sephiroth in the first round of the villain battle awhile ago. Gamefaqs doesn't show much love for one of my favorite RPGs. I'm also a little pissed that Dracula wasn't in the villain battle, there are no Fire Emblem or FF Tactics characters, and that Lloyd was given a two seed instead of a more appropriate four or five seed. Dante was given a one seed, which makes me quite happy even if he definitely doesn't deserve it. I also think that retiring champions is a good idea, just so we don't see any more of this FF VII dominance.
Oh, and Mega Man for the win. The only other worthy competitor is Mario, who's probably the most logical choice to win. My final four is Mario, Crono, Mega Man, and Snake. -------------------- |

I'm actually voting
but as L. cully said some characters lost out in the first round (who i feel shouln't have)(in cecil's case he went against kirby, who is obviously a lot more well-known) but its going to be interesting to see how it turns out link has won twice, sephiroth, and cloud have both won so it's seems the cream will definatley rise to the top and some gawd awful character won't win I'm hoping it's going to be auron or tifa -------------------- "Have you ever seen a baby do that before?" |

I don't really care for polls like that, but a while ago I visited the sight and saw Kefka facing off with someone, of course he got my vote but I don't know if he advanced after that or not. My opinion for this has pretty much been said already.

To answer that question for you Bum's Rush, Kefka Lost that match against Tommy Vercetti (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City), i wasn't to happy either that Vercetti won.

Link isnt in this one, he is in the Champs section which will take place after the 2005 Contest, the First Prize for the most accurate braket done y an account user is a 400$ (I think) Online Gift certificate. Since the contest has started no one can make a braket now.

Link, Cloud, and Sephiroth have been the only winners in the last four years. I can already see where it's going, so I didn't bother to participate this time. The allure of unknown prizes doesn't seem to work on me, I guess.

They should make a contest without putting in there the characters that attract thousands of fanboys (Link, Cloud and Sephiroth...) so the contest could have some diversity for a change x_X
On a totally unrelated note...is anyone here registered in the GameFaqs Message Boards ?
