I've just played Cyan's dream and was wondering what you guys thought about that whole part of the game. I mean we appear in a very wierd hall with staircases and dream stooges - where does this come from??

I'm assuming the train part comes from his experience with Shadow and Sabin in the beginning of the game.

Then there's the Magitech scene in some cave. Maybe the magitech comes from his escape from the imperial camp outside of Doma. But why are they in a cave?

any thoughts?

The Dream Stooges just take you to a 'neutral' part of Cyan's brain. After that, you pass through:

- The Phantom Train, a traumatic experience for Cyan as he had just lost his family and met them there again

- A combination of a memory of Cyan fighting the Empire as a member of Doma's army and a slew of mechanic enemies, displaying his fear of
machinery.

- And a few memories from his life as father and husband.
