Overall, it looks pretty awesome! A wee bit more on the ghoulish side than I imagined (black, pointy fingernails?), but, hey, it beats anything I'm capable of at the moment. Man, such good detail (I likes the hair)...keep it up

Wow, that is pretty damn good. The detail is very nice. Especially for the clothes. They look very good. The face doesn't look that great to me, but oh well.
I'm interested in this Opencavas 4 Plus you used. Looks like its pretty handy. How much does it cost? -------------------- -- You're Gonna Carry That Weight -- |

Quote (Rujuken @ 30th December 2005 18:11) I'm interested in this Opencavas 4 Plus you used. Looks like its pretty handy. How much does it cost? Opencanvas 4 It's actually very inexpensive, though you have to be able to pay by credit card. There's also Opencanvas 1.1, which is freeware that you can download. Thanks everybody! I appreciate it! |

He looks rather depressed and/or moody. That's a switch
Love the pseudo-gothic look, makes him almost look somewhat like a vampire. Only thing to say, s***t that's good. Edit BTW, doesn't his nose look a bit big? -------------------- I fear my heart and fear my soul Life goes on, it surely will, Without me and I wonder: Will I ever see light again? Life goes on... |

Thanks everybody!
And unfortunately, his nose isn't as big as his left eye is high (so it skews the proportions.) It was awkward trying to draw him since I was trying to use three reference sources (Amano's work, the opening bit, and the sprite) and combining them proved rather difficult. I made plenty of mistakes. |

I think with this style you should concentrate on inspirations based purely on Amano, in my opinion. Loving the details on the cuffs. Just reached him in my FFVI playthrough actually. This is 'sulking & dramatic' Setzer I assume.
Spoiler-ish? Best be safe...
