If you're reading this message, you've joined us in the new world of (hopefully!) reduced downtime on our sparkly new server-box-o-thing.
Some folks will still be seeing the old location for a while as domain name updates propagate across the Electric Interweb™, so if they seem confused, that's probably why it is. Or they might just be stupid. It depends who you're talking to. As ever, let us know if anything seems less than 100% peachy. Or, well, less peachy than it was on the old server, at any rate. |

Yay the server is up, and there is a new home for CoN!

OK, obviously there are some critical errors going on here. I'm giving the host about 24 hours to get something sorted out, and if they can't, well, there's a good chance CoN just won't be around at all for a couple days while we figure out what to do. I'd rather have a site down completely than have it do what it's doing right now.

Spealing of having the site completely down, this is the first I was actually able to access it at home since Monday I think. I got through yesterday at work once, but when I got home I couldn't.

I'm sure I speak for everyone in saying that we would all rather have what's ultimately good for the site--including a sane webmaster--than have every single little problem fixed right now. A few days of downtime isn't going to kill anyone. I'm sure you'll get it all figured out.

For now, we're not going to be moving. We're working on any poor allotment of resources that might cause the site to be unviewable.
If you guys really care as much as you all claim to (  ), please email Climhazzard@cavesofnarshe.com with as much information as you can muster. I don't care if you don't understand the error, or if it goes away again right away, or what. Please just send it to Clim so we can try to stamp out everything; we don't want to shut down and move the site again already if we might be able to get this one in working order first. Thanks! So, maybe take a screenshot of what's happened, then? Lately, the site just hasn't been loading for me, not even displaying any errors.
