Also, since R51 posted the link to the page, the info regarding the champion belt appears to be incorrect, since many people have confirmed that it IS indeed available post-Disc 1.

you should be albe to get it on disc 1, it would take some time, but it should be fairly easy to get the BP because i was lv 50 in disc 1 before and that should be level enough to kill the monsters in the battle arena.

Yes as far as i know you can get it on disc 1, will take quiet a long time though to get the 64000 BP points on disc 1.

You can, but it's twice as expensive as on Disc 3, not to mention that it'd be really hard to get that many BP, since you'll not have Ribbon, Imperial Guard, OR Ultima Weapon, not to mention the lack of good Materia.

Actually you need 51200 BP in disc 1 to get it in disc 3 it gets higher (64000 BP) as yelanates said. you COULD get it, but it would be much easier to get it in the third disc, and the price doesnt really go up that much - in the third disc, it only took me 4 battles to get that much

All available knowledge I have on the battle square (which amounts to two separate faqs written by different people, posted on different sites) says that Omnislash costs 64,000 BP on Disc 1 and 32,000 BP on Disc 3. This includes the CoN guide posted above by Ranger51 and the Battle Arena FAQ from gamefaqs.com, so the price DOES go down for Omnislash.

...sorry for being a FFVII n00b, but...you have to get this particular limit break for Cloud via an item, as opposed to leveling him up or doing something enough times?
Okay, I'm not really familiar with the entire limit break system, which I originally assumed to be [level up far enough] --> [gain new limit breaks]. No, gaining limits is based on killing monsters and using a limit .. amount of times.
Like you have to use braver 7 times to get the next limit break. And to get meteorain you have to defeat 320 enemies (something like that). -------------------- I look kinda like Vince so ill pick him as my avatar. :) |
