From what I've heard, it will be an English dubbed version.

Just random news that came to me. I'm one of the of the people who's heavily disinterested in Advent Children, so I don't actively search out information. Kind of mad at Square-Enix at the moment.

if you check the square advent site in english, archetype, you can watch MOST of the trailers in dubbed form - the last one is still subtitled, to the best of my knowledge (i looked at it like, a week or two ago)
out of curiosity, shotgunnova, what made you angry at square, and why is that a reason to not care about advent children - frankly, for me, the company, regardless of stupidity, if it produces good, then its good - take everquest - flawed, very flawed, highly popular

mmm good points malshun
But to me, I prefer the orginal subtitled because I think going through the whole process to redo things detracts from what the original japanese version had.

But in the end, to each man is entitle his own drink, or so its said. if ya dont liek it ok,if ya like it, fine with me too

There are things that must happen, because otherwise, it would defeat the purpose of its name, for it must happen.

well, yeah, i'd prefer to see it subtitled myself, because you get more of a sense of what things are going on - but most people dont see it that way - the movie Hero - great movie, but when i first saw it (i saw it the day it came out) when they started talking in chinese (or whatever) more then half of the audience groaned

Ya, I personally like subbed more. I mean... since it's CG, they COULD completely re-make the dialogue scenes, syncing the lips to fit the English and whatnot, but that would take FOREVER! If it's not an English sync, then I'd rather have subbed than dubbed, it just lookes cheesy dubbed...

Besides the growing amount of FF7 sequels, I'm also partially mad that the open-endedness of the original's ending is being ruined. I was one of the people who, back in the day, had long debates about how the ending FMV and what it meant when the time was dwindling down.

Possible spoilers: highlight to view
Does Cloud and everyone live? Does the human race live, for that matter? What makes Midgar inhabitable years later? What connection did Marlene have to Aeris?

All of the joy I got out of playing the game came from the numerous discussions I had with my friends at GameTalk. Now that everything is being revealed, I don't feel like spending money on it, partially because Square-Enix is capitalizing on one of their most popular games; because all the mystique is being lost.

Another reason is that FFTactics' world setting (Ivalice) is being reused in other games. Tactics Advance turned it into a third-grade nursery-rhyme world and I fear that FFXII is going to branch it out into new territory, ruining the pristine image it had in the PSX version. It's my favorite game and anything that doesn't mesh with how the original was created, I'm adamantly against.

I'm not going to stick with a company just on their name alone, and I never will. Squaresoft's made some great games in the past, it's true, but that alone isn't enough to snag this consumer. They just seem less appealing as time goes by.

Boy, testify about Ivalice. They've mutilated it. Not to mention, last time I checked it was a kingdom, not a planet. Criminy.
