 Seen 'em all over the place y'know, so I drew 'em. I know there's some sort of big story in the game what revolves around them I think. Never understood that whole storyline issue for fighting games though. Rather pointless if you ask me. Dunno if I'll have the energy to cg 'em yet. I'm sure it'll happen though eventually. -------------------- |

Actually, I think they're a couple of the "faces".
 So that's what it is, huh... I always thought Darkstalkers was an anime or something... *shrug* You did a nice job NP.  Great detail and pose work as usual. faces? sorry, i seemed to have missed something - and i forgot to say as well, narratorway, those are very good drawings - especially the hands - i've never been able to draw, paint, or whatever hands or feet (feet w/o shoes, that is :-P)

I think there might have been a Darkstalkers anime at some point. I dunno for sure. But NP is right in describing it as a Halloween Street Fighter II. You guys really should check the game out if you never have - it's certainly quite playable.
In terms of the sketches, it seems to me that the wings rest a little low, as if they're from the small of the back rather than closer to the scapulae. And both Lilith and Morrigan, though a bit more so in Morrigan, have an "Asian" appearance to me in terms of facial shape and features; I seem to recall that they are European in the game, but if you've never played, you wouldn't really know that.  -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

Yeah they do seem Asian-like, and yes there was an anime (or maybe just an anime movie of it) and I remember there was a cartoon series that used to air when I was younger, I remember watching it. And I have played the game a couple of times in an arcade, correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there a zombie kind character in the game with some sort of electric guitar? ANYWAY, they look great, nice job.

Ohhh dark stalkers fan art! That's a fun game. Hallowe'en street fighter is a prefect way to describe them lol.
They look great; Morrigan could look a little less innocent though I really like how you drew Lilith's legs. |

A little messy, but if that was the intended look, very brilliant overall.

The original games were for the Arcade (correct me if they came out on another system) and a Darkstalkers game was released for the PSP, and Anakaris, BB Hood, Felicia and Morrigan appear on Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, is Dark Heart from Darkstalkers?
