I've come to notice, [slowpoke ole me] that Cids and stuffs that fly are like things that go together[well mostly anyways]
I mean come on dunno if this is spoiler worthy but jsut in case Possible spoilers: highlight to view FFVIICid + Highwind = Cid Highwind with you're oversized ship that on the world map, is barely bigger than your chocobo FFVIII Cid + School = Make the school fly =O? FFX Cid + Errrrr whatever that thing was called that fired a lot of missles and didn't really look like it should be flying = main travel source All of the cids seem to provide your main source of moving around , with the exception of FFVIII and the Ragnarok, so do you think FFVII spawned this whole thing with cid? [ I dont think that one FF, can't remember for the life of me <--- xD [where does that come from y'all] where cid is just a head/frog, counts as you're driver xD -------------------- ::Yawn + 15.3236:: There are things that must happen, because otherwise, it would defeat the purpose of its name, for it must happen. |

Cid was also completely out of the loop concerning either airship in FFVI. He normally doesn't have to be responsible for all forms of air travel, just the first "airship".

Well,
Possible spoilers: highlight to view FF VI Cid does give you a raft at the start of the WoR, which doesn't fly, but does give you some transportation. FF IV, V, VII, VIII, IX, and X's Cids may have all had flying transportation-related roles, but VI's Cid still gets you places. -------------------- |

It keeps them from having to think up too many new ideas, I guess.

Remember the Cid in FFII (IV for US, the one with Cecil and Kain) he looked like a dog... that was funny.

yea the cids are always awsome, and always carry some intuitive/genius trait to them, also usually being the older/wiser one of the group
