There's nowhere near enough information there for someone to help you. But, assuming that you are actually trying to put an original Playstation disc into an original Playstation, I would first try the disc in someone else's Playstation. If your Playstation will play other games, the problem would appear to be, yes, "FF7 Messing up." If your FF7 disc will play in someone else's Playstation, it would seem that your Playstation is the problem.
Try giving actual information rather than trying to make people write essays about what *could* be wrong. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

I get this message when I first fire up my Playstation 2 with FFVII disc 3. It's basicly a mix of my PS2 being abit old and my FF disc being abit old and the laser failing. Wipe the disc with a CD cleaner very lightly, then just keep reseting untill it loads.

I dunno, because I use a PS2 to play it, and mines is like super original PS2 when it first came out, and I take pretty good care of it.
It could be that theres somethign wrong with the disk and you're console can't detect it, but I dunno, you gotta say something more -------------------- ::Yawn + 15.3236:: There are things that must happen, because otherwise, it would defeat the purpose of its name, for it must happen. |

My PS2 didn't play PSX games for quite some time. After putting in a laser-cleaner disc (disc with little bristles on bottom), it worked like a charm. Other than that, I had attibuted the faultiness to the first disc of the game, so when I wanted to start a new game or load up a file, I would have to put a different disc in, switch 'em out, then switch 'em back.
