I heard about it just now over 107.7 The End radio station that there was a huge investigation on this, and that yes she supposedly just dropped dead.
This sounds kinda funky to me...set up or something for some sort of maybe camera-time ploy for her...or maybe it was something like a heart attack. -------------------- <DrkMagimaster282> MWAHAHA. Anna Nicole Smith 1967-2007
That's all it says on her site. This is quite shocking, only a couple of months ago Steve Irwin died, and her son too. sad. -------------------- "Have you ever seen a baby do that before?" |

Yeah, always sad when a pill-popping celebutard meets their end.
I guess it's sad in a macrolevel, but I don't find myself moved by her death beyond that. And yeah, you shouldn't have any trouble finding out more information. We tracked the story in chat on several different sites for about a half hour earlier today. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

I was surprised by her death, but unmoved. You should be able to get info on it practically anywhere by now, seeing as she passed around 4:15pm EST

She had nothing to with my life, but all the same, it's too bad she died. On the spiritual sense, and because the media's going to be talking about nothing else for about 3 weeks.

Well, even though it wasn't really know her thinking of pill-popping, she did just have a baby which is happy, but yet a lot of responsibilty. To make things even more complicated, her son died a few days after her baby was born.
Now if things like that happen to you/ attack you at the same time and don't affect you, then you really must not know what it's like. I know people like that, it's kinda sad. I feel bad for her, even though I really didn't know her or try to learn anything about her. -------------------- Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Chrsit for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost Acts 4:12 Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost |

I can't bring myself to feel sorry for the same Anna Nicole Smith who showed up drunk as holy hell to just about every Hollywood award ceremony, married the living equivalent of the Crypt Keeper for the "financial benefits" and got to live the easy life for it. Shame about her son dying, as it must be totally unbearable to have to bury your own child, but I honestly doubt she was sober long enough or had enough sense to realize he was even gone. I don't mean that to sound like an asshole, but she wasn't the sharpest knife in the shed.
I never felt any obligation to like this woman, she never did anything of notable significance besides sleep with rich men, make really bad movies and soft-core porn and make an ass of herself in public. I'm not surprised by her death, I don't feel bad for her and I don't think she deserves the attention she's getting. I hate it when people who were trash one day suddenly die and everyone feels bad about it. I do feel bad for the newborn child, as it'll grow up without it's mother...but then again, considering Anna Nicole, that might just be for the best. Lord knows the kid will have all the money in the world to afford whatever therapy he/she will eventually need. -------------------- Okay, but there was a goat! |

I think it's sad when anyone dies, especially suddenly, and especially when they're leaving small children behind.

Honestly, I'm not too sad that Anna Nicole passed away. I don't mean to speak ill of the dead, but her life was a little more tragic than her death. Her daughter is the real tragedy here...with the whole paternity thing still in question, my concern is her welfare and not the fact that her mother passed away.

I saw this in the paper when I was getting my hair cut. The barber said: "Anna Nicole who?"
And I replied: "Y'know... the one with... Actually you're right." Teen kills friend with one punch? Woah.
![]() So anyways. Was this person popular or something like that? Like, hollywood popular or science and technology popular? I mean heck, that must've been an awesome punch. For some reason I can't help but imagine the kid's head exploding from the impact in a spray of bone shards. Then some guy muttering "Fatality" from somewhere away in a Mortal Kombat-esque voice. Anyways. Shame about the dead chick. -------------------- "Judge not a man by his thoughts and words, but by the quality and quantity of liquor in his possession and the likelyhood of him sharing." |

He's an 18 year old amateur boxer apparently. And he's now in prison for three years. No doubt he'll do fine in there with a reputation like that! It would've been better if the guy's fist went through the other guy's head believe it or not. What actually happened was he fell so violently from the hit that his head smashed against the pavement causing internal bleeding and swelling in his brain. He died in hospital. It sucks that she died and everything, especially with the kind of legacy she's gonna leave behind, but after being exposed to a TV for any length of time today, you really start to get sick of hearing her name.

We talked about it in chat yesterday. In all honesty, I didn't care for her either. And I have seen the "Anna Nicole Show", which was utter crap. I pray to God forbid reruns of that show.
Although, if you think about it, it's pretty sad when someone dies and leaves an infant behind without a caretaker.. Now the biggest concern is to determine who should take the baby. I cannot wait for the media to shut up about her death and move on to other discussions. |

I had a friend call me last night and inform me of above info. He was told it was a drug overdose, but I haven't heard that anywhere else yet.
I think it's sad, but it also might have been seen coming. More importantly, now it's in bad taste to make fun of her in front of the wrong people... I heard she was announced Double-D-O-A at the hospital. ![]() The wierd part of it all now is that there is a possiblity of a legal struggle over the baby, due to the fact that it's probably worth over 474 million dollars. Quote Then some guy muttering "Fatality" from somewhere away in a Mortal Kombat-esque voice. the same thing popped in my head when I read, "Teen Kills Friend in One Punch." I've been hearing rumors about a "drug overdose" too, but as always I'm waiting to hear the autopsy report before i believe anything about cause of death. and for those of you who don't live in America, or managed to not ever hear about Anna Nicole Smith. Anna Nicole smith was a Texas high school drop out, who became a stripper. But became famous for having a big rack, and was featured in Playboy. Won playmate of the year, and after establishing her fame married an old oil Tycoon and made him a happy old fart till the end of his days(hell, he was smiling in every photo). After the old dude keeled over his son didn't want her to inherit any of his father's money, after the first case the settlement was that she would get 400million and the kid would get all the rest. But that wasn't enough for the kid, so he had the ruling overturned. And the case made it's way up to the supreme court, and by then Anna Nicole Smith was fat. and E Hollywood gave her, her own show, which nobody watched. It got canceled and then E moved on to "The Girl's Next Door". Then Anna Nicole lost all her fat and became the spokesperson for trimspa. A year later she gave birth to a daughter, then her son died, and now she died. how in the hell did i know all that. Damn you !E. -------------------- "Have you ever seen a baby do that before?" |

As I said a few days back, I feel bad for Anna Nicole, but I feel sorry for the kid. But I'd feel sorry for any kid that lost their mother, so that's nothing special.

My friend text-messaged me at 2am saying 'Anna Nicole Smith is dead!' when it happened. Honestly, I didn't care that much. I mean, sure, I feel bad for her kid, but otherwise, it's not that big a deal to me. Maybe that sounds a bit cold.
I didn't know who she was when I first saw the headlines, so I google image searched her. I was pleasantly surprised with the results, but then I remembered it was in bad taste because she's dead. ![]() |

No, see, the point here isn't "She died; that's how the world works; things die." It's "She died. Who cares?" But lol, I just read the Wikipedia article. That prompted my response. I am aware that I sound cold about this (it is kinda cold outside--it's actually snowing), but I have to admit this is one person I doubt the world should be very concerned about the passage of. Princess Diana? Yes. Mother Theresa? Yes. Anna Nicole Smith? Sheesh, I prefer to say that I'm sad that Vickie Lynn Hogan (her real name) died, but I will thank Anna Nicole Smith for taking herself off the list of celebrities that fankids are going to go gaga about. She's not even all that exciting or attractive. Stupid fankids... I probably wouldn't even know she existed if I hadn't seen so many of her dang weight-loss commercials. It's a shame she died and all, but I'd say that about anyone. Besides, she will always live on in her commercials that are played every break on TLC.
