I've recently (or rather, just a while ago) made an internet quiz regarding character type in the world of the RPG system I'm designing.
The quiz is vailable here, and I would be most grateful if some of you people would tell me what results you got and how you liked the quiz. Have fun with it. I got Citizen, which is also what I thought I'd get. I'm a practical kinda guy, and all this fighting stuff is really not what I'd be into if I had super powers, so I think the results showed that. I was very tempted to enter "Shotgun and Revolver! Shotgun and Revolver!" because, well, who wouldn't go for that combo? However, I thought that the "Whatever's around" option fit my personality more closely.
Pretty good, I guess. |

I are freak!
5 for Freak, 3 for Citizen and 1 for Enlightened One. I can't say I'm suprised, it's what I thought I'd get. I guess my citizen-ness came from me being kind of vague about combat stuff. As for the Enlightened One, I don't have a clue. I liked the inclusion of Jethro Tull lyrics. Come to think of it, that might be what got me that point towards E.O. |

It said I was a freak... it's probably right, lol. Though I was close to being a mage I think. It was enteratining dude and that's what counts!

Quite bizarre quiz...I got SOLDIER, but the quiz lacked of the true options I want to "click"....good because I wanted to go on soldier..

No one will be shocked to learn I got Soldier from my selected entries... I may not be fit enought to join the army, and I'm not actually even be remotley capable (too much of a wimp), but hey, hasn't stopped me running around a field with an airsoft replica shooting at and getting shot at by other people!
Of course, it seems it wound up spread around to other things as well, but Soldier ... got one for a few other things, including wise man and bastard... Ol' Artisan me. It's a pretty medium quiz because of what Mog lv99 said. I felt like extremely "me"-ish responses weren't abound.
Other than that... what the heck is up with that site? I navigated around for a bit because the quiz didn't load when I first followed the link and the other quizzes, well... um. Weirdness.  -------------------- Get me off this Disciplinary Committee so I can play any FF except for FF8!!! |

I don't mean this in a rude way, but what's the point of the quiz? I don't really understand how to answer some of the questions. Are they just based on what kinds of powers, etc., we'd want if the world went kablooey?
And it's the Cult of Ecstacy, not the Ecstacy Cult. ;-) I think you left off a pretty major category of characters, there, too: straight-out spellcasters (wizards, Order of Hermes, Tremere, etc.) that are a mix between sage and badass. I wound up with Mage. I wasn't really trying for anything because I didn't know what to try for. I got Soldier, but... what exactly was the point of the quiz? lol fun but alot of the answers choosable were confusing. I had to go up and down the list a few times to see what i thought i would be.

To the people asking what the choices actually are:
I, as already said, am designing my own, regular, tabletop (I believe that's the word) RPG. The outcomes in this quiz are the equivalents of "character classes" each of wich has certain base statistics (not atributes - those you roll for), , such as power bonuses, ability points, skill points (40 given divided between four specific groups of skills), merits&flaws points, and a "class" merit and flaw. The player chooses, from the available "sorts" of powers two, well, for the Faceless one, but he gets a bigger bonus on it, that he wants to have, and describes what it specifically does to the Game Master (this time, me). And with that "RPG character" question I wasn't intending on putting in all of the most famous/badass/whatever clans/traditions, however, the results that scored from the answers refferring to WoD, were the two results, that if true, and into RPG, would surely know what these clans/traditions were about. The "power" question was less about what power would you want, and more about what power do you think you'd get. And for the people who didn't know what result to strive for: that's part of the point. I'am most impressed you made an original quiz and had questions that didn't make guessing the result obvious. However the last question does ruin the element of surprise. Other than that great job.
