I'm stuck in the Underground. Help?

I just got down exploring the sylph cave and talking to Yang, all he said was the "..." line, I'm trying to get back to the overworld to talk to yang's wife now, for the pan, But I can't seem to get out of the underworld as stupid as that sounds . . .
i have a map with the spot labelled Upper World but i can't seem to remember how to fly up.. or whatever it is i need to do. -------------------- N E C R O P H A G I S T |

Go to the hole where you first entered (by dropping the key in the well above ground) and hit the land/take-off button. Simple as that. You might need to get the drill if you haven't done that yet.
