Well, this thread is about just FF VII bosses, hence its location in the FF VII section. If we're doing most difficult bosses from any FF game, I'd have to go with FF I Chaos, FF IIIj Dark Cloud, or FF V Omega, but we aren't so this post is completely out of place.

A good strategy against Ruby is to equip the W item and 4X Cut enabled DOUBLE CUT materia. Attack him and you'll alaways hit him 9999 4X. Cast KotR if you want to. If you abuse the ITEM dupli-cheat then throw elixirs to FULL RECOVERY your character, but if you don't then use the X Potion and Turbo Ether to restore your energy. I recommend equipind the FOURTH BRACELET found in Rocket Town in Disc 3, Ribbon for all of Ruby's status attacks, and Ultima Weapon!! That should preety much do him!

Personally I thought FFVII's bosses are so easy. The only bosses I was irritated a little bit was Emerald Weapon and Ruby Weapon.

So my vote is Emerald because he is alot more annoying than Ruby.. But I still think even though 1,000,000 HP, I think Omega Weapon FFV and Shinryu are harder. TRUST ME.

The boss' in VII weren't that tough at all. Hojo has my vote simply because of how annoying he is.

i had trouble with demon gate i have no clue why he was just impossible

and yes emerald is a pushover if you know what you're doing (knights of the round never gets old)

THE FIRST TIME, I had trouble with Demon Gate ( which is the same thing as Evil Wall in FF IV) The key to beating him is Physical attacks, his Mag Def is way up!

Ruby weapon! I think he was the toughest...was hard just tough... Sephiroth was a push-over, and the rest were the same as Seph!

Really, I don't think any boss is overly-difficult, anymore. Maybe I'm just too good at RPGs.

I'd say Proud Clod, but only because he has so many HP it took me 45 minutes to beat him. By the time I got to Emmie, I was strong enough that it took less time to take him down. I mean, my opener attacks took out half his life right off the bat before he could even attack!

(7777 Fever, Omnislash, Final Heaven, ...Bloodlust? (One of Yuffie's limits))

The only bosses I had trouble with were Emerald and Ruby. The others were taken care of by excessive preparation. I still can't decide which of the two is easier, though--I can't beat either one without cheating.
