so the story goes that i at one point in time had a ROM of ff7 and was playing with an emulator (if you dont know dont ask) BUT i was bored one day and happend to download a "cheat" for the game (it was someone elses saved game with everything) so i loaded it up and found that everything was finished except for the north crater....but with one exception...Aeris was still in my party..i dont know how or why but she was still playable until i got into the crater....once i figure out how to get it back ill post some screen shots....it was to say the least...messed up

Could you use her in battle? What was her speech? The chance is that it is actually someone like Vincent or Yuffie, but their character has been changed to Aeris. A lot of Gameshark codes on the Playstation replace Vincent with Sephiroth.

you could use her......but as soon as you get to the area where you change parties you cant put her back into a party...maybe its a glitch or somthing
and it wasnt a glitch like ur saying as it had vincent in the party and yuffie was selectable as well -------------------- he who makes a beast out of himself takes away the pain of being a man. My friend told me if you beat Final Fantasy VII, VII times and save each file on the same memory card the Eigth time you play the game Aeris lives. I'm not sure if this is true, but if it is this may be why the Aeris On that file is still alive.

Wow some guys are really being fooled easely.
Oh and archetype, what is supposed to be special about that? The guy only used a gameshark, then used VexDrive to put the save on his computer then share it... This kind of cheat is verry buggy, like the one for General Leo in FFVI, and how could it not. It was just NEVER inteaded in the first way. Square NEVER wanted to bring Aeris' ressurection possible. If you want sources, just use the search button on the top right of the page. This post has been edited by Zodiac on 2nd July 2005 13:54 -------------------- Sayonara |

oh BTW i never was under the impression that you could get aeris back, i was more confused as how on this save you could still have her in your party.....and also in my orginal post there was nothing said about a resurrection...

How to discern a rumor Sign 1: The rumor is ALWAYS told by a friend, relative, or anyone not the person posting. This is to protect one's rear end in the event someone proves them wrong. Sign 2: The rumor involves doing something completely unrelated to the game events themselves. Typically these are repetatitive actions that can't immediately be verified ("fight in Battle Square 777 times and Dio joins you!"), meaning it cannot be verified without quite a bit of time. Sign 3: The rumor has never been proven true by anyone before, nor is there any proof of it working anywhere on the internet. This despite being years after the game in question was released. Sign 4: The poster will never be insistent. This, like sign 1, is to prevent being flamed if they're found to be lying. Typically this involves something such as "I can't clearly remember," "I'm not sure if this is true," or "I've never actually done this myself." Sign 5: The rumor covers a topic that has been riddled to death with rumors in the past. Sorry dude. ![]() -------------------- "Judge not a man by his thoughts and words, but by the quality and quantity of liquor in his possession and the likelyhood of him sharing." |

Sign 6: the person's post count is a one digit number.. sorry but it's true!
Still... perhaps it is possible to bring Aeris back to life if you sacifise Tifa. In order to do this, you must own at least four gold chocobos, you then have to feed a carob nut to ruby weapon, you must also make sure your memory card has been formated at least 48 hours earlier, ruby weapon will then start dancing to the spice girl song called.... ![]() OK, who fell for it? hehehe.. -------------------- 'Let that be a lesson to all oppressive vegetable sellers.' |

Archetype said nothing about a ressurection, yet you're flaming him about what the other guy said. He was just wondering how they did it.

yeah, my first indication is to point straight at a gameshark - either that, or the guy is very good at writing code or something for the emulator
