has anyone played or heard of these games?
Rudora is loosly translated to Rudra's Secret Treasure and is a little known gem by squaresoft only released in japan. ive started to play, and i can honestly say it is freakin sweet. im a huge ff6 fan, and this game really stacks up right next to it. everything is similar to ff6 cept the magic system, which just blew me away. you can practically customize every damn spell, and the combinations with others are endless. its really fun, you guys should try it! Pretty Soldier: Sailor Moon, Another Story.....hmmm, a friend of mine recommended this game to me if i was into rpgs (which i do love indeed!). at first i was skeptical, cuz all the other sailor moon games seemed kinda bad....oh yeah, and cuz its SAILOR MOON, ![]() i was wondering if anyone else has played these two games, especially rudora, seeing as it is so similar to ff6. so, any takers? thanx guys! I've played Another Story. As RPGs go it's okay, but rather basic. For Sailor Moon fans it has a lot more meaning though (I'm not one, sorry).
Otherwise the over used music and dull enviroments make it a one time game for me. -------------------- The Arcana are the means by which ALL is revealed. |

As for Sailor Moon RPG: Another Story being an RPG, it feels much more like an RPG with Sailor Moon than a Sailor Moon game with RPG elements. It feels very much like a badly designed RPG (including HP increase by level of 10 to 12 to 25 and damage from enemies suddenly rising from 4 to 40 when you enter a cave), but it's probably quite enjoyable to a Sailor Moon fan. It contains a lot of Sailor-Moon-specific jokes and plot-elements and lines and stuff, so that part's probably very familiar to SM fans. I didn't really enjoy it, though, since I'm not a SM fan at all, and I grabbed this game only for 'educational' purposes (which I haven't even finished since it became too annoying).

Rudra's Secret Treasure sounds interesting, i'll have to check it out.
As for Another Story, I didn't mind the game so much, but i'm just a hardcore RPGer, i'll play damn near anything I can get my grubbie little paws on. It took me a bit to get accustomed to the game though. I DID however discover a code for it, completely on accident, that allows you to start at level 15. Haha, that was dandy. I submitted it to Gamewinners, but I don't think the jerks ever put it up, GRANTED they don't have a section for the game and i'd be the first to be saying anything. -------------------- This one time I punched a bear in the forehead TO DEATH!
