Can you go into those tiny houses and talk to people or get treasure? I always wondered what's inside of those,

I reckon so. I remember getting like, Mythril from them and in all the grass, unless you just can't walk in the building. In that case, no.

If memory serves well, you can walk inside the houses when tiny but you don't actually go inside them. That is, the screen doesn't switch to an inside view: you walk around hidden by the roof. But there's stuff to be found.

You don't have to be tiny to enter them though. Cecil's just, well, a giant to all the frogs and little people (and pigs?) running around, so I imagine if it switched to an inside view it'd look something like him moving around while incredibly squashed á la Alice in Wonderland.
