The blocked door on the Junon Path

As you go down the Junon Path towards the underwater reactor there is a doorway guarded by a dog.Is there ANY way to get inside that doorway?

yes, thats where you get the curse ring - when the guy asks whats going on, tell the truth, and he'll laugh, and tell you that its not a real door, then give ya the curse ring

You find an old key wedged in the floorboards near the nurse's station balcony and when you go into the second floor shop, if you try to open the door in the back with the key, the owner will ask you what you're doing. Answer him truthly and he'll give you the Cursed Ring.
