There is no best e.skill per se, but there are very useful ones, for example, Trine, Aqualung and Beta (Materia Keeper, Jenova LIFE and Midgar Zolom respectively.) Check the FF7 page for more details.

CoN's FFVII Section Many people say that the best enemy skill is Pandora's Box. This is learned from Zombie Dragons, and can only be learned at one point, in only one battle. happy.gif

In my Opinion the best e-skill is "Shadow Flare" it costs 100mp but it does some great damage

My favourite Enemy Skills are White Wind (manipulate...something in the plains near Junon; I can picture it but not name it) and Big (Mighty?) Guard (manipulate the ocean monsters on the beach outside of Costa del Sol). I use them all the time, especially in the Battle Square.

Well, without listing every possible enemy skill, I'd just say that Big Guard, Magic Hammer, White Wind, and Beta are probably the most useful skills since you can get them relatively early on, they cost relatively little MP, and their effects help you in every battle you can ever face.

Big Guard = Manipulate Beachplugs on the Gongaga beach
Beta = Cast by the Midgar Zolom (use a Fire Ring to absorb)
Magic Hammer = Razorweeds (?) around the Wutai Area
White Wind = Manipulate a Zemzelett around the Fort Condor area

i'd go with those too, some of the others were just too annoying to get after your 12th time through the game thumbup.gif

My favorite was Matra Magic from various enemies. I just loved the missiles all flying out.

I'd have to say Beta, Aqualung, & Trine, they own in battle square, especially since they hardly use any MP, they also do about 1500 dmg, so if ur Mini'd or ur weapon is broken or some stuff like that, then that's ur dmg dealer smile.gif

Pandora's Box ( NaN To Ka??? in japanese...I'm just offering the truth, happy.gif ) is the best enemy skill,IMO, because it was a lot useful in my battle against Ruby Weapon, since ignores defenses. Of course Dragon Force and Death Force are very useful, as well as Mighty Guard and White Wind. I like using Enemy Skill at any battle, BTW.

You have one chance to get Pandora's Box, though, and that's on the last disc in the last dungeon, so that's decreases its playability right off the bat. It would actually be more useful (though overpowered) if you could get it earlier. =/

Trine is the best bang for your buck of all the magics. I used that, Magic Hammer, and Big Guard. The other ones are nice to play with, but not nearly as useful, I found.

My favorite are;

Magic Breath from Stilva in the mountains of the Great Glacier

Beta (Zolom) Trine (M Keeper) Aqualung (some monsters in the GS desert)

Big Guard (manipulating the Beach Plugs in costa del sol)

Goblin Punch (Goblins in Goblin Is; ONE MP!)

White Wind (Zemzelett in Junon area)

Matra Magic (Robots arond Midgar; this early in the game is very useful)

Shadow Flare (Ultimate WEAPON final attack!)

Those are my favorite, only once did I managed to get them all, never bother to try and get them all 14 out 15 times I've played the game!

My favorite enemy skill is definitely Shadow Flare. However, as for the most useful skill, I'd go with either White Wind or Mighty Guard.
