I don't see another topic about this; I'm sorry if there is one.
While reading news about the new GC Zelda game, I came across this link (link...get it?) for the trailer. It looks pretty impressive, to me! We're finally back to Link looking like a hero instead of a cartoon. The best thing about this is the audience reaction. Everyone starts cheering just when I would. ![]() -------------------- Veni, vidi, dormivi. |

Cheering is one thing. The guy who keeps yelling "OH MY GOD" and "WHO'S THE MAN," though, is an absolute idiot - the reason why people look down on gamers.
![]() The game does look hot, though. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

The yelling was funny at first. *grin* But, yeah. Silly gamer boys with no social skills... And RAWR. Hot is an understatement. -------------------- Veni, vidi, dormivi. |

Most not have looked to hard.

Quote (karasuman @ 19th May 2005 13:32) We're finally back to Link looking like a hero instead of a cartoon. Aww...now what's wrong with him looking cartoonish? With the exception of two games, he's more familiar (to me at least) as a chibi-hero - concept art aside. Which is why I can't stand when people say WW had bad graphics - the cel-shading =/= bad, ugly outdated graphics!!1!1! by any stretch; those people just don't like the graphical style. There's a difference as far as I'm concerned. Heck, the CD-I Zelda games had great graphics for their time, and we all know how bad those games are (at least the first and third one, personally. I never played Faces of Evil). Whoops, there I go on a tangent again. ![]() I haven't viewed any trailers other than the first one from last E3 due to my painfully slow connection (which means, sadly, that I can't listen to those guys make idiots outta themselves, and I do love doing that), but TP - *giggle* TP *giggle* - seems like it'll have something largely to do with animals, like MM and masks. Now if only Nintendo could make up their minds on where it takes place in the Timeline o' Confusion™. Apparently it was gonna be a direct sequel to WW, but now (or not long ago) they stated they aren't sure where it fits. ![]() Anyways, yes - it does indeed look super hot-o-licious. Five bucks says it'll be easy as pie, though. -------------------- Words of Wisdom: If something can go wrong, it will. If anything simply cannot go wrong, it will anyway. From what I've seen of trailers and what not, the gameplay looks great. Horseback fighting, changing into a wolf, the downthrust, fighting a goron... I can't wait.
