Well it's a bit hard to forget once you get to the end of the game.

I found the signification of Fareth and Zoeda, they are historical names...

Milyra al'Falor was born in 84 ATG, the youngest of three sisters born to Zoeda and Fareth al'Falor of Bandar Eban in Arad Doman. Milyra was the apple of her family's eye, as were her two older sisters Tatiana and Sofia, who were 10 and 12 years older than Milyra, respectively.

Zoeda ran a store that dealt in luxuries -- silken dresses from Shara, scented perfumes from the Sea Folk lands, algode clothing from the Aiel Waste -- anything that the well-to-do could want. While Zoeda and the rest of the family stayed at home to run the store, Fareth ran the caravans.

Milyra basked in the love and adoration of family and strangers alike. Her thick flowing hair of the darkest red and her gentle, golden brown eyes surrounded by long, curling lashes garnered many compliments from the men and women who entered the store.

Milyra never knew her father well, as he was always on one trip or another, looking for goods that would fetch Zoeda the highest price. But, although the goods sold well, the family never eked out more than a hand-to-mouth existance.

Milyra learned to read at an early age, her parents encouraging the habit at first, sure that Tatiana and Sofia would marry well. But then it happened..

Milyra's eighth year was full of disasters, and her life changed dramatically. First, her eldest sister, Sofia, fell pregnant by the poor stableboy at the inn where Sofia worked for extra money. Zoeda forced Sofia to marry the father of the child, to avoid a scandal that would surely destroy the al'Falor business.

Tatiana had been spending the last three years accompanying Fareth on the caravan journeys, since she had an instinctual ability to ferret out the best deals possible. Tatiana had always been the wild daughter and shortly after Sofia's wedding, she came home from a trip, quite pregnant and married to a Taraboner merchant, one even worse off than the al'Falors. Though Tatiana lost the child in her sixth month, she refused to leave her husband to find a better, richer husband that would please her mother.

All hope gone for wealthy marriages with her eldest two, Zoeda started attempting to turn Milyra, still a child at only eight years old, into the perfect Domani lady, a lady that would please any Domani lord, hoping -- and quite determined -- that at least one of her daughters would marry well. She soon found that she and Fareth had encouraged the child's reading too much. No matter how much Zoeda yelled, begged, or even beat Milyra, she could never get the child to show more than a passing interest in the Domani arts.

Fareth died in Milyra's twelveth year, after falling prey to a brain fever. Zoeda took her grief out on Milyra, the only daughter still at home, as she slipped further and further into drink.. Zoeda beat Milyra more and more, often with no provocation besides Milyra's absentmindedness. Of course, Zoeda was very careful, managing to never mark Milyra with more than bruises that would fade away quickly, leaving the worst abuse verbal. Unfortunately, the abuse made Milyra retreat more into her books, which made her mother beat her more.

Three years later, with the business failing, though on the surface, the al'Falors were at least middle class, if not well-to-do, Zoeda took desperate measures. She arranged Milyra's "marriage" to a well-to-do merchant, fully knowing that the merchant dealt in the pleasures of the female body. It was agreed that Zoeda would get half of all profits the merchant made off of Milyra. Milyra had just turned 15.

Milyra was aghast when she found out, and begged an old friend, one of the caravan guards from before her father's death, to save her. The man quickly agreed and they packed their belongings quickly, Derrec taking his life savings for travel money. He and Milyra slipped away in the night before Milyra's wedding day.

Milyra and Derrec traveled the world, stopping at towns where Derrec would hire out his services as a bodyguard or soldier for a few goldens and room and board for Milyra. They wintered in Caemlyn, where Milyra hired on as a servant in the library. Milyra felt happy and at peace for the first time since her sisters' weddings.

For Milyra's sixteenth birthday, Derrec surprised her with a beautiful diamond ring and a wedding proposal. Though he was twenty years her senior, Derrec had come to love the gentle scholar Milyra had become and Milyra realized with a shock that she had come to love this man who had risked his life so many times for her. She accepted his proposal.

Derrec placed the ring on Milyra's finger and they started eagerly planning their wedding. Suddenly, Milyra turned serious and asked Derrec if he would still continue fighting for pay.

Derrec said he had only one more job to do, in a few weeks, and then he would have enough money to retire. Milyra exacted his promise to quit after this one last job and then let the subject drop, knowing that Derrec would keep his promise as he always had.

The next two weeks were spent in a flurry of activity. Milyra bought her wedding dress, a satin dress with elaborate beading and embroidery, a creation out of Milyra's dreams. They sat for their engagement portrait, a portrait that Milyra still keeps in her room. They looked for a house to buy and did anything else a soon-to-be married couple would do, except for one thing -- Derrec was insistant that he would not enjoy Milyra's body until their wedding night, knowing instinctually that doing so would ruin what little self-esteem Milyra had managed to salvage after the years of rough treatment from her mother.

The last night Milyra and Derrec were together, they stayed up late, making plans for the wedding they would have after Derrec's return from the job in Cairhein. Milyra fell asleep in Derrec's arms, waking up to find a note from him on his pillow.

"Sorry, love, for not waking you. You were sleeping so peacefully, I didn't want to wake you. I'll be gone a fortnight, at the most. I cannot wait until I get back, and we marry. I love you, my dearest Milyra. ~~ Love, your Derrec."

Milyra smiled and tucked the note in her pocket, quickly getting ready for work. She went to the library, finally sharing the news of her engagement with her friends. They rejoiced, as Milyra was well-liked, even if she was a bit of a klutz.

She counted the days, the minutes even, until Derrec was due to come home. A fortnight came and went and Milyra became worried. Almost three weeks after Derrec had left, she recieved a letter notifying her of his death. An assassin had tried to kill the Cairheinin lord Derrec had been employed by and Derrec had taken the crossbow bolt to save the lord's life.

Milyra fell into a deep despair and packed up her belongings, including the portrait of her and Derrec and her collection of books. She quit her job at the library and set out for Tar Valon. She had decided to go study in the greatest library in the world, knowing that her studies would take her mind off of Derrec's death.

So she traveled to the Tar Valon, entering the Tower to study in the library late in her 16th year. She was surprised when she was escorted to the Mistress of Novices, Mailin Sedai, and told she had the spark inborn and would eventually channel. So, though it was never in her plans, she became a Novice in the White Tower.

Milyra is currently in training, though her training is going slow, as she tends to forget to go to class, often lost in her studies at the Library.

She has made many friends, her best friend being Treyia Gerfenyulen of Tarabon. She is quite kind, though she's become known as the "Tower klutz" because of the accidents that often happen around her. She's friendly to all she knows, though she's recently become a bit more withdrawn than usual.

She serves the Great Lord, unbeknownst to all but those who serve him also.

Milyra is 5'7" and 150 pounds. She has hair of the darkest red that falls to her waist in a mass of corkscrew curls She has a round face, with slightly tilted light brown eyes, with streaks of gold in them, set above high cheekbones and copper skin that seems to glitter.

It's beautiful to have two proper names... but they are mayn other words to discover the meaning.

Fareth(name) Kaos(god?) De Vanda!! Zoeda(name) Remdo Feolio... I am the one together with the Time God Zomala(Who is this god?) who can open this gate! Dejeon!!

I found out that Kaos was the god of creativity, and should not be considered as a god of destruction.

I dunno what it means, but damn it's cool to try and find out. Thanks for the challenge, Zodiac.

Note: If someone could translate ゾマーラ, that'd be fantastic.

デジョン [dezyon] -- dejeon -- is just the name of the spell. this is the exact name attributed to the ff4 "warp" and other similar spells within the series.

translating the bit about the spell on shinjutsei's linked page, we find that dejeon is simply an ancient spell recorded in the germonik scriptures by which one can apparently make a pact with zomala and transcend spacetime to open the gate to death city murond.

i can't help you on those names. the japanese is

and i probably would have translated the names/incantation as "pharuos chaos de banda! zorda lamdo feorio..." so i'm not sure where any of those came from. it's certainly possible they just threw in some random things.

Thanks for your effort. As much as I'd hate to say it, you're probably right about them just throwing it in there. I was hoping for a hidden meaning. Oh well.

Most of it is "nonesense" (ie, just words; gozaru got that part pretty much right depending on how you'd translate it) The rest is just the japanese near-equivalent of the original sentence (I am one with the Time God, who can open this gate; etc..)
