Okay i know this sounds alittle wierd but i heard on a list of matteria you get in the crater(the place where you fight sephy not sure the name but its ont he way to the main pit) that you could find a master command matteria. Now i admit i have scowered the place looking for it and havent found it how ever in on room i saw on what looked like a ledge on the top of a wall (dont ask the room or the description its been way to long.) a yellow orb like that of when you find one of the emeny skill matteria's or what not how ever it was slightly larger. So was this site out of its gourd or is it true. and if you know what that yellow orb was i was talking about and how to get it please let me know.

Only two ways to have a Master Command: beating Emerald Weapon or doing it the hard way, with all seven Command materia that forms it and go visit Bugenhagen's observatory.

About the yellow spot you noticed: I can think of several occasions where a materia appears of one colour on the screen and is in fact from another (one is for sure in the Crater, for that matter), so it may be one of these errors. Check the Crater's walkthrough to see if any description there could match your memories, because I can't think of any moment with a yellow orb right now.

That materia is 2x Cut I think, it's just another way to get it. That's what I heard anyway, though the guy who told me wasn't that reliable. Shifty would probably be a better adjective.

No, the Double Cut materia is not in the Crater, it is in the Gelnika. I think that any half-decent guide to the game, not to mention our own (and soon to be known as ultimate happy.gif) FF7 section would state it somewhere if the Double Cut could be found in two places.

I'm getting a little sick of this rumor outbreak we've been having lately. Please, people, if it's something you've heard, think, remember seeing a gazillion years ago but can't quite get how you did it, then refrain from posting it.
