i was wondering what sort of characters in any game annoys you (NPCs), but that reoccur constantly and just seem to piss you off. for example, ive been playing wild arms 2 lately, and i swear i must have fought liz and ard 5 times already and only on the 1st disc. in ffx2, the leblanc syndicate kinda pissed me off in the beginning, but then i learned to love em, lol. so what do you guys think?

1.)The old men from Final Fantasy 3. Absolutely the most useless characters ever.
2.) The Scorpion Army from SoM. Also completely pointless. Damn Robots.
3.) Random Dark Jedi's who pop up and try to kill you in KoTOR
4.) Random Assassins that try to kill you in morrowind.

That's all I got right now.

Beatrix. She was so freaking smug all the time, yet I kept owning her until she whips out Stock Break that magically beats me, then laughs, and I never get to truly beat her. Argh!

I don't really hate them or even dislike them but that font that the Mr. Saturns of EarthBound fame speak in is just so hard to read. That and their grammer's inherently screwed up. Sorry guys, once is funny, twice is novel, three times it starts to wear off but an entire village of KAY-O!!! that you have to return to regularly is just plain annoying. Still, it's funny in small doses.

Solt and Peppor, because they could've chosen a million different people who would've been more entertaining to teach a tutorial. And then, once you actually fight them (in one of the sidequests), for real, they'
re super hard I always thought that was funny.

The false Chosen group. They appeared one time in the whole game, bumped into your party, and made you pay 1000 gold for their potion, which was yours in the first place. Then, you go to the mayor's house to get the special book thingie that you need to get, and he's like: "Whoops! I gave it to hose other guys who claimed to be the Chosen. Sorry." After that, you NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN!!! Their only perpose was to add about five hours of pointless game time

I really dislike the three stooges from FFVI

Thorn and Zorn. By their second appearance, I was sick of them. "We are in trouble!" "Trouble we are in!"

I gotta say, the old men of 3j were great.

The Runaway Five from EarthBound. Nothing personal, but they should work slave labor to pay off their own damn debt! Also, the few of their shows you have to sit through bore me.

Zorn and Thorn were pretty bad, too. I'd like to know which one had the bright idea of dressing Black Waltz #2 in a fancy blue dress. Oooh, intimidating!

And I just gotta agree: those four old men in FFIIIj rocked. Sure they were stupid, but they had spunk. Same goes for the Mr. Saturns...sorta.

Fujin and raijin in FFVIII, god I hated how raijin would ALWAYS say 'yah know?'. It REALLY got on my nerves. Also I found them tough in that hotel place in the first town you go to (you dont have to fight them till later) I believe you can draw out pandamonium from fujin also...

The FFIX jesters were annoying. Mostly, though, I like the recurring characters: the Turks, Fujin and Raijin, Ultros, etc.
