Another suggestion from me! Ok, unless I'm missing how to do this, it appears I can't change my name for the forums here. Now I'm sure this is probably intentional and I have enough common sense to understand why you wouldn't want people changing their profile name.

But basically, when I joined up here, I was foolish and thought, hey, I'll just use this name, because I probably won't come back anyway, after the next few days.. It doesn't bother me that much but I didn't see any harm in suggesting that members be allowed to change their name, if they make the same mistake as me. Maybe something could be put in place to stop people changing their name constantly.

The ball is in your court, I can stick with 'fatman' if you don't like the idea. happy.gif

Yeah, it is intentional I'm afraid. In astoundingly exceptional cases the admin team will change a username, but it's extremely rare and wouldn't apply in this case.

Sorry.

Ok, thanks anyway! thumbup.gif
It's a very trivial matter anyway, I did feel silly for brining it up.

I may as well lock this topic, as I doubt there's anything more to be discussed here.
