Moderator Edit This has been added to the gallery, thank you! -R51 Right, so heres what I've been doing instead of attending to more important things. Prep for finals? Meh... Sleep? Never heard of it... I wanted to show the different steps in doing something like this so I have 4 pics to show. The first 3 are steps leading up to the final product. Sketch Line Color Submission (dang I should start submitting these correctly) Title: None Artist: Rujuken Media: Corel Draw & Paint Comments: As usual time constraints prevent me from really tinkering with the pic until I'm completely satisfied/exhausted with it. There are a few inconsistencies, like I didn't get her face quite right, her hips are too narrow, and her breasts are a bit too perky (don't think anyone would complain about that one though). Also I reduced the size of the original pic I was working on. This one is about 20% of the original size, so there were details in it you can't even see now (in other words "Waste o Time"). Final I wanted to put a background on this and some lighting effect, but I figured I've spent enough time on this as is and I really should be getting some work done. I did indeed, Elena. The colors on the legs seema bit too "solid". No detail lines for the leg muscles or curvature or anything, just the light shading.

Against my usual procedure, I went right away to the finished product. Nice work as always with the CG colouring and anime form.
Not exactly wearing my thinking cap today, but here a few things I noticed: Her boobs aren't exactly following the line of her body. I know she has big'uns, but hopefully she's wearing some support. They're going too much to her left while her body is turned more toward the right. A structural flaw that I find that the eyes aren't lined up as they should be according to the angle at which you have her head (the right eye). It just needs to be moved down a bit. Not a really big fan of the extra extra shiny anime girls, but that's just more of my preference. I'm not quite sure what to say about her expression also... I was kinda half expecting some drool coming out though. Great work and detail on her outfit. You got just about everything found on her in the game. Overall, a good job, but a few minor corrections need to be made  -------------------- kame, tortue, tortuga, schildkröte, tartaruga, turtle "Arthur Dent?" "Yes." "Arthur Philip Dent?" "Yes." Good call there Kame. I knew something was off with the face but I never noticed it was the eyes. And you pointed out Tifa's bust too. Both need to be shifted a bit to her right.
Yeah the colors are solid, but thats what I usually go for anyway. This time I was wanting to blur the lines between the colors but I couldn't really afford to spend anymore time on it. Gotta do my homework sometime. As for the legs an extra layer of shading would do them good (help with the detail some). The same would be true for the whole pic. Oh if I only had a crap load of free time to make something super detailed. *sob* Edit: Oh and about here expression. She is looking at something and is somewhat suprised/awe struck. Most likely. I was using the official art as a reference. Some people might consider that little grayish thing on her left foot something else, but I think its a piece of metal used for making her kicks more devastating.
