My first ending was with Bartz alone.. Heh, I always beef up Bartz to Level 56 and !GilToss on Neo Ex-Death like "that." I only cared for Bartz in the end because he was the best. krile, reina, and faris... they were dead and I cared none for them lol.

My first was all but Lenna, because I hate Lenna. She's always 4 levels behind because

you lose her in world 3 for the Pyramid

Weak. Therefore, she dies first and I couldn't care less.

First time around, I escaped with everyone alive, and at level 52, except for Lenna, who was at 51. I owe my victory to White Wind, Golem, Carbuncle and a fair few Elixirs.

But seriously... I haven't beaten the game yet, so I haven't had an ending yet. ;

My first ending was with Lenna and Faris still alive and Bartz and Cara KO'ed. I just got finished beating the game with all four alive, and to be honest, the ending with half the team killed was more touching.

I had all four in the ending. I haven't seen any endings missing characters before, but the again, NeoExdeath is almost absurdly difficult for a level 49 party of Mimics with many mastered classes.

Does the ending change with different fellows? o.o

I haven't beaten it yet. I should, though, shouldn't I...
Either way, I dislike Cara/Krile. She's not as strong as the others because I didn't like the character before her and made him (thus, her o.o) a wuss. XD She'll probably die off.

Cara is certinaly weaker than Galuf, but she has the highest natural speed/agility rating of all of them. Although I personally hate her, too (she seems too chibi for me...plus her costumes don't get even close to rivalling Galuf's), she is a very valuable character.

First I defeated the game with everyone alive, then I defated it with Krile dead, and noticed the ending was different ( although it was a happy ending as well..). How many posible combinations of endings can we see, freaks me out.

The ending is different depending on who you end up with being alive and healthy.. There is a total of FOURTEEN endings. Yeah, two more endings than Chrono Trigger and the first alternate endings in FF history. I guess I'll add that to my FFV vs FFIV chart

I just beat FFV for the first time (after having the game for about the last 5yrs) last night. My party survived intact (which really suprised me!). Of my bunch, Faris was probably the most beefed up (with only one class missing from being mastered). Not exactly a huge fan of Cara (Krile, whatever) but I tried very hard to keep everyone functioning. It took me three times fighting ExDeath to finally kill him.

What I did: Butz was a Mimic while everyone else was Regular.

Butz' commands: Mimic (duh), White, Dimentional, (call random esper)
Lenna: X-Fight, GP Rain
Cara: X-Fight, GP Rain
Lenna:X-Fight, White

Since I never got Mighty Guard, I had to make due with Lenna and Butz casting Armor and Shell on everyone. Butz also had the job of casting Haste2 to keep everything going fast. Cara and Lenna basically hacked and slashed (and threw lots of cash at the NeoExDeath).

I think one of the biggest improvements of FFVI over FFV is definately the music

After beating FFV, now I have the urge to draw a NeoExDeath.

I'm not cruel enough to want any of them dead, and I'm too good at the game for any of them to die unavoidably

That and I've beaten NeoExdeath without him landing a blow.

I didn't realize that having them KOed at the end of the final fight changed the ending.

Well, now you know.. Because it's Mike's Super Short Show

I kept dying when I fought Neo Exdeath to the point where I just yelled 'Screw it' and did the Holy Water + Maidens Kiss trick to end the battle so I could see the ending and be done with the game.

Although I came very close to defeating NeoExdeath, to this day I haven't managed it :c
