[QUOTE]Uh...you do realize that what people have christened "hardtype" IS the original game? The FFIV/II North America received on the SNES was a dramatically dumbed-down version. We never saw the real game till it was rereleased via Chronicles on the PlayStation (or beforehand by downloading the ROM). Y'know, just in case you weren't aware...
Oh, really? I thought both versions were the same except for several new commands, and harder difficulty.. And by the way, I checked out a link to a site that showed the TRUE FFIV screen shots and when I saw Zeromus, I was surprised to see that was the TRUE Zeromus, and looking alot cooler. For some odd reason, it still shows the same Zeromus look from the FFIIUS. So I don't understand FFIV Hardtype for the PSX being the so-called "100% ORIGINAL GAME" |

Well, since you've already taken this off topic, I guess I'll show you this.
http://www.cavesofnarshe.com/forums/ipb/in...p?showtopic=782 I assume that's what you've already seen, but perhaps you got a bit confused and should read it again (and ask any questions in the appropriate forum). Now, back on the topic. Indeed, back onto the topic! Final Fantasy V has my favorite soundtrack of all the games, and I don't care what people say about the main villain, he's one of my favorites in the series too.
Plus, FFV has Gilgamesh. Win. |

I quite enjoyed FF5. Yes, the characters are a little boring, but I enjoy the story. I feel the gameplay makes up for some of the lacking elements in the game. I'm currently in the middle of playing it through my first time, and I am enjoying it.
