I really need help!
I'm on the 1st disc and im trying to get to the ancient ruins but i cant find it.

1. Where is the ancient ruins?
2.How do i get there/what route do I take?
3. Off topic, am i near the end of the 1st disc?

I'll advise using our FF7 section here at CoN, and either look at the map or at the relevant chapter in our walkthrough.

As far as your third question, you're definitely in the last quarter of disc 1.

Do you mean the Temple of the Ancients? Or the Forgotten Capital?

If you want the Temple, then move south from rocket town and take the river south of Cosmo Canyon to the east side of the middle continent. you'll see it on a medium-sized island to the southwest of the eastern continent.

If you want the Forgotten Capital (right after the Temple sequence of events), then take the Tiny Bronco northeast of Rocket Town along the coastline until you can cross to the north continent. The path is through Bone Village, but you need to do some excavating first.

The closest thing I can think of is the Temple of the Ancients. If that for sure isn't what you're looking for, please provide some more information, using a spoiler warning if need be.
