As the name tells, what is your favourite boss of all time?
Mine's Ganon from Zelda OoT. You can just toy with him for ages. The battle can be endless if you do it right.

My favorite battle with a boss, is Alucard vs Richter Belmont in Castlevania SoTN for PSX. With the very low level you can have, no equipping anything..except the Alucart shield and the tyrfing if you can, and with only 57 HP, believe a single mistake is the end for this fight..haha. This topic is similar to this one , I could be wrong , though.

I enjoyed fighting Meliadoul at Bervenia in FFTactics. That battle is indescribably fun for me. Besides that, the Wild ARMs 3 bosses are all fun to fight, especially the "power rangers" you fight in Sand Canal.

I've always liked fighting Milon/Milon Z/Scarmiglione/Whatever. He used to give me lots of trouble, but now, I plain like fighting him, mainly cause he's easy, and when he falls off the bridge, he's got the best scream ever.

I'd have to say the final boss from Panzer Dragoon Orta. He was REALLY hard, but awesome too.

Alien Hominid had a bunch of good ones, too.

Hmm, how about.. the cyberdemon from Doom? Man he's tough. And he fires 5 rockets at a time (they hurt a lot). But if you're good you can take him around an entire level and he gets into fights with lots of other monsters. Saves lot of ammo and is very entertaining.

I recall a level where you can just walk in a room and he sees you and has to get past 20 or so very tough barons. You can just stand there and watch him try to fight them all off, lol, so funny. He usually kills all of them easily enough. Best not to underestimate him though. If you get cornered or get stuck at the wrong moment, game over...

I always enjoyed fighting Thanatos in Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 2). But then again I enjoyed all the bosses in that game. Runner's up go to Ganondorf (I especially enjoyed the battle with him in WW), all Final Fantasy villains, Magus, and Bowser.

Ganon from the Wind Waker. Best fight evar, baby.

Oh yeah, and EVERY boss from Metroid Prime. Echoes had some good ones, but Prime's were infinitely better.

Vergil from DMC3, any of the bounties from SoA (especially the Ixa'ness demons), the multiple tiers of Kefka from FFVI, the Great Mighty Poo from Conker's BFD, Mega Man and Castlevania bosses, the list goes on and on.

Oh, and Moglv99, you do know that Richter isn't the final boss, right? There's a way to free him from Dracula's control and take on Dracula himself, check an FAQ or something (I only figured it out because of my determination to explore the entire castle; I thought that Richter was the final boss for awhile before I did some serious exploring).

Orsted from live-a-live because you can play as him in the final battle causing the armageddon if you're losing.

In the first Mortal Kombat, I always enjoyed fighting against old man, Shang Tsung. Dycedarg, Gafgarion, and Altima from FFT, Jenova (all forms) in FF7, The Sorceresses from FFVIII, Kuja from FFIX, and Liquid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series are my favorite bosses.

Liquid Snake, Shang Tsung, and Kuja are my "top three" favorite video game bosses, however.

Kefka.
No question. And with equal obviousness, Sephi.

Gannon[dorf] (I'm saying LoZ in general) is third by a long shot, but Mortal Kombat's Shoa Kahn and Dragon King are great uber-badarses as well.
Then the nod goes to the alltime King-o-VG Bosses....King Koopa(aside from Donkey Kong, the original game boss)

The End from MGS4. For those who don't know, The End is a sniper from the Metal Gear universe. I'm sure some people would take Sniper Wolf over The End, but they are only saying that because Sniper Wolf had much better cleavage.

This battle was incredible. This actually felt like I was in a sniper's duel with a master. The tension that was created by just moving into the open while trying to locate him was excellently done. The fact that there are so many ways to beat him made it that much cooler. The first time I played him, it took me almost an hour to beat him, and that's not because I kept dying, it's because the fight took that long. The second time it took me 30 minutes, and the third took just under ten. Each time was done with a different strategy.

Metal Gear is known for badass boss battles, and this one was the most intense for me, by far.

The End's a really good one. I like how you can save during the battle, stop playing for a week or so, then start up the game again only to be informed the guy died while you were on hiatus. biggrin.gif Never actually done that myself; running 'round the woods trying to take out a plant-like man is too good to pass up.

My favorite is probably Nemesis, in any of his forms. Knock him out, pick up the items he drops, then blow his brains out with the grenade launcher. But it's just fun. Plus if you opt to finish him off in the end, you'll hear Jill shout one of the corniest lines in the series (with the exception of nearly everything said in RE1). It's things like that that make me giggle!

I'll always have a soft spot for Kefka and all the different Bowser fights.

Ever since I was young, I've always liked the battle with Magus in his castle in Chrono trigger. Awsome battle, still kinda challenging if your not high leveled.

oh...talking about Castlevania SOTN for PSX, the most insane battle was defeating Galamoth playing as Richter Belmont, which already said in other topic. Of course I knew Richter wasn't the final boss like Laszlow said, I'm around 290.1%..that say all...it just too good go very underleveled to that fight and with that X-X!V''Q code. I also enjoyed fighting underleved, without any armor..just the tyrfing and alucart shield equipped against Dopplerganger40 and those 3 fake bosses ..
Hey, some bosses like "Nemesis"; in RE3...he's not that hard, I kill him with the Handgun only, and yes, takes too many time..but he won't touch me. cool.gif . Also Liquid Snake is one my favorite too...what a battle, in Extreme is even more fun, because you can fall of Metal Gear.
