Yeah i think that the game over slots only comes about once
unless you're really lucky
Just incase i equip caitsith with luck plus materia.
But i'm still not sure if it makes a difference

The part where

Cait Sith kidnapped Marlene.
That must have really sucked for Barret.

The part where I stole his Manipulate materia and never used him again. biggrin.gif

Well, I suppose he does have his good points. I'm a big fan of Reeve and his soft-heartedness, so it's natural that I'm fond of Cait. I'd probably have more memories if I used him more often, but currently, I have only one funny memory. I had lost to Ruby WEAPON before and I thought Cait Sith's slots would help me out with a nice GAMEOVER slot, so I brought him into battle for a trial run. The first round Cloud gets Whirlsand-ed and Tifa was already dead (from a previous battle), so it was up to the cat-rider to save me. He does his Slots and ends up getting what is known as the "joker death". Not really an uplifting story, but having your limit kill yourself is funny in itself.

I never really liked Cait Sith at all, but I liked Aeris even less.

I think my favorite moments were

putting Tifa and Aeris in my party for the Temple Of Ancients and hearing Cait Sith's little "prediction" with both girls present.

and for christ sake, his weapons are megaphones. "Don't mess with me or I'll YELL at you REALLY loud!" Even if he never actually says that, it's still great.

Not much of a fortune teller though.

I used him on a few occasions my first playthrough (I'm currently on a second) and never got beyond his Limit beyond Dice, so battle-wise, no Cait Sith moments. Story-wise, however,
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
I like it and I think it was very well-crafted when he kidnaps Marlene as a way to force trust from Cloud and the rest of the party, as previously mentioned.

lol, that sounds great!

did Tifa say anything, or do anything?
And how come some of you really don't like Aeris? I think she's really nice. You just find her cherry optimism really annoying or something?

I don't think the Megaphone itself does any damage, as said in the manual he shouts out orders which are carried out by the stuffed mog he "Magically Brought to Life", so I guess the clearer his megaphone the more mog will understand him, gah who knows? (Points to the Cait Sith Avatar) You can obviously tell I like the guy

I only use him in the scene where he and Barret are at Junon and Tifa is in the gas chamber, but doesn't he only use his megaphone to bash the enemies? Or is the cat holding it and the moogle bashes with his fat paws?

Hmm lets see..

Possible spoilers: highlight to view
I like when the second Cait Sith shows up and announces "I am Cait Sith 2 pleased to meet you" (or something like that) while Cloud is having a nervous breakdown

I also like casting haste on Cait Sith and he bounces around like an idiot really fast.

The most memorabl;e moment I have of Cait Sith is when he sacrifices himself to get the black materia out of the Ancients Temple.

Don't double post, and please create some spoiler warnings.

Now, so my post isn't censure-only, my favorite moment was probably the series of scenes
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
from where you first discover that Cait Sith's the double agent to the Temple of the Ancients where he sacrifices himself to where you discover his true identity, Reeve.
I don't use Cait Sith very often, but I have to include that scene because it was one of very few scenes that I hadn't had spoiled for me the first time my friends and I went through the game (I played this game for the first time at a series of sleepovers with two friends). We had already heard about
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
Barret and Dyne, Cloud being a clone, Vincent's past, Aeris' death, far too many things.
We would go to school and the older kids on our bus would tell us exactly what would happen next, all the way through the first one and a half disks. Cait Sith's aforementioned scenes were a precious few of the story sequences that we cleared before those guys had a chance to tell us all about it.

well its pretty bad that a lot of stuff is revealed to you before you actually play the game, it kind of ruins it for you

like i saw aerith die when i was looking through the movies on disc 1 (pc version) and that kind of stuffed up one of the major parts of the game...i wondered why i got her ultimate weapon so quickly

I have come to the conclusion:
Cait sith is the name of the cat
he uses the megaphone to tell
the moogle what to do, and to store
the materia in.(I seem to remember cait sith shouting
as an attack) I dunno wacko.gif or maybe I was
going fuzzy. God I feel crap,I'm very ill! sad.gif
