I'm with Striker on the CoD. Easily the best FPS I've ever played. Doom3 gets close on pure atmosphere and presentation. The actual gameplay itself was really kinda simple.

This thread needs more Counterstrike love and less Tiddles.

But other than Counterstrike, old school UT (UT99) is the next best mutliplayer FPS.

Also, I would probably have to go with Half Life 2 for single player, just because it's probably the only single player FPS I've ever played all the way through.

I basically only play multiplayer FPS's.
