yeah, this one is a backstabbing sob who can't be trusted, true words. he sucks the whole game, by betraying his friend and acting like a 10 year old in front of rosa to get her attaintion(i am stronger than cecil!)
not so impressive then people may think... impressive, however is that golbez controlls him multiple times during the game  |

I personally thought Kain was the second best character. I probably used Rydia the most, because of her summons. Then Edge, then Cecil. Everyone else just kinda sucked. The final party was perfect though. Glad they didn't end up putting Cid or the twins in...but Yang would have actually been a nice addition

Kain is actually a cool 1. I have a friend who practically worships him. Cecil had a cool role too. FuSoYa was way too powerful, you just had him a lil bit

I found Kain to be a very good character. He was weak-minded, yes. But that was part of what made the plot so moving. Having to face your former best friend like that...someone who once supported you...
All the same, I could understand why Kain did several of the things he did. I have no doubt that his world ended up turned on its ear. Somehow, I think that fact made him more subsceptible to Golbez' mind control. It could be easy to make Kain thing that Cecil was a traitor to Baron for his actions. That coupled with the fact that Cecil had the love of the woman Kain wanted...must have made him very torn about a lot of things. True, he seems to lack morals. Some of the things he did were just wrong. |
