Whilest playing FF7 recently I did the Wutai sidequest, and while doing so I came across a good strategy for beating Rapps, which I think would be benificial to the site. Since you told me to suck it dry in chat and make a topic here it is
Before the battle get everyone into fury status, and get their limit breaks. Going into the battle bash him with everything you got, and using fury quickly get your limit full and hit him again. This works especially well with Vincent, as he is beserked and it allows you to operate your other characters faster, right from the start of battle. Heal as needed, and he should go down quickly. -------------------- If you've been mod-o-fied, It's an illusion, and you're in-between. Don't you be tarot-fied, It's just alot of nothing, so what can it mean? ~Frank Zappa Sins exist only for people who are on the Way or approaching the Way |

Better strategy: You just need to use a stopping technique like Aeris' Seal Evil or a Dazer once as Rapps is, like Ruby Weapon, vulnerable to stop. While Rapps is stopped, just use your most powerful moves and he should fall fast.

My Strategy: Attack like crazy, hope for a quick limit break (Fury helps) and have atleast 1 person using potions/high potions. Oh and Bolt Plumes help, basically hope for the best.
