Gelnika and Materia

I've been running around the Gelnika collecting the treasure, however, there are 2 materia I can't seem to get: the Double Cut (which is mentioned in the walkthrough that you CAN get, but I just can't seem to get it =.=) and an independent materia behind one of the treasure chests.
Does anyone have any idea why I can't get the Double Cut? I can stand next to it, but no matter what I press, I can't get it. x.x Anyway... Where do you get the Full Cure and the Shield materias? I know it's mentioned but I really don't have any idea exactly where. (Geez, I'm so clueless!) Thanks if anyone can help! =) |

Shield is in the Northern Cave. i think there's a bit where you have to jump and press confirm at the right point... or maybe that's a different materia.

Double Cut...there's another pathway, if I'm not mistaken. The materia looks like it's on the same level as everything else, but it's not. It's on the lined pathway-thing, right? I think, when you first enter that room, go straight instead of right, and walk on the pathway. I think that's correct. It's been awhile since I did that part.

double cut is in the upper right hand corner of the screen sometimes, Or just in my game. Go up into the first room into the far right corner and press O.
