I was looking through the bestiary for the nes version and the entry for both Lich are the same when it comes to magic. To the best of my memory, Lich never cast Nuke when I fought him in the Earth Cave. Also wondering why some of the monsters under bosses were listed there (red dragon, war mech). True, they can be troublesome and war mech does pose more of a threat than any of the fiends but he wasn't a boss.

I think he did have NUKE, I can recall getting blasted by something once, but I can't say with 100% certainty that it was NUKE.
The "semi-bosses" are in there because they are unescapable (and often unavoidable) fights that only happen in a certain spot (such as in front of a chest or on Warmech's bridge). -------------------- |
