Undertaker won it!
I've been waiting years for this to happen!
And this is the first time since I can remember I couldn't watch it. sad.gif

I so have to get the DVD when it is released, apparently a lot of the other matches were very entertaining too.
WWE hasn't been too hot recently, but I just feel the need to see this particular PPV, I've always been a sucker for the Royal Rumble.
Did anyone here see it?

The Undertaker has been in multiple Rumbles since 1991, entered #30 in at least one other ('97) before this one, so he was long overdue. It was VERY fitting to have the Phenom and the ICON as the last two participants, the two longest-tenured active wrestlers in consecutive years in the WWF/WWE. It was awesome and I was very pleased with the commentary from Cole, the King, and JBL! I hope the 'Taker continues his undefeated Wrestlemania streak as he guns for his 5th World title reign!!

I'm very happy with the way the Rumble turned out, even though I was pullin' for Sabu. An ECW original winnin' the Rumble would've been so sweet...

I haven't watched wrestling in years, but I used to be a HUGE Jerochoholic.

Isn't the Undertaker undefeated lifetime at Wrestlemania? Is that streak still going?

It's still going, and I think he'll win the title at this coming Wrestlemainia guarnateed. If not, I will not be happy!
15 - 0 is what the score will be.

His most likely opponent will be Batista.
Cheers for the comments FabulousFreebird, I want to get it even more now!
I hope I don't have to wait long to see it.

Hamedo, I think hearing you say that you were a Jerichaholic gives me reason to love you. I haven't watched wrestling seriously in a long, long time. I gave a few watches recently on both Raw and Smackdown because I heard about the return of D-X, The Hardy Boyz and return of such matches as the Casket match and the Inferno match, which made me happy.

Wrestling lost it's edge when the focus was more on out of ring drama and less on "omg wtf did he just throw the other guy off of/through/into", I mean, remember Shane jumping off the Titantron? Hulk Hogan hitting the Rock with a semi truck? The original D-X feuding with Vince's Corporation? Paul Bearer? Bret Hart before the Montreal Screw Job and his eventual decent into WCW suckitude? That was good watching.

These days, it's been altogether lacking. Seeing K-Fed on Raw was a huge dissapointment, I mean christ, it's bad enough most of the wrestlers I used to love are out of the WWE and wrestling for TNA, but this is just ridiculous. Still, I'm glad the Taker has finally won out a Royal Rumble and I personally hope his Wrestle mania streak stays alive.

Also, it's a bit of old news, but I'm extremely glad he's back to his original "Dead man" gimick with the smoke and mind-games as opposed to his "American Badass" biker phase, which was...well...lame.

*blink blink* It's like you read my mind.

Yeah, I haven't watched WWE since Chris Jericho and Christian left, but it's nice to hear that the Undertaker won the Royal Rumble. happy.gif I've always been a fan of him. *has had a huge poster of 'Taker on her wall since she was in grade seven*
