Mantra. Its saved my party so many times I can't count. It's hard to beat free healing with status effect removal.

Fire Dance is so useful when you first get it. My favorite memories of Sabin's moves all involve that attack so it's my favorite attack. Roasting those soldiers trying to get to the esper in Narshe is classic. One Fire Dance and they're all dead.

Bum Rush is the best. And if you equip him with the Atlas Armlet relic, then you can do even more damage.

Well, it depends on how many enemies I'm fighting and what their elemental matchups are. If they are in numbers of more then three and/or are weak to wind it is Air Blade. Every other time it is Bum Rush. They both do good amounts of damage for the entire duration I had them. The others only make themselves helpful to me when I first got them. Regaurdless, they all look cool.

Dunno why, (maybe it's cause I always use it) but I'm gonna go with Aurabolt. Pretty good damage, a good animation, so I'd say an all around good attack.

Fire dance and bum rush came in at a tie for second. (I dunno why, but I never could do Airblade)

Air Blade.

Hits all enemies. More powerful than Fire Dance. 'Nuff said.

I'll have to go with firedance as well. Basically ends every battle during his separation from the rest of the party.

Edit: I like firedance on the SNES. On the PSX, it goes WAY too slow. So, in which case I would say Mantra for PSX cause it doesn't take as long. Oh, and the healing part is great biggrin.gif .

I can't immagine the number of times Fire Dance came in handy. I actualy eventualy got sick of watching the little clip. But boy it mowed down the enemies. happy.gif I always thought the Figaro brothers had a bit too much of an edge on everyone else. Between Tool and Blitz, they were easily some of the most useful charecters.

I always thought Sabin's Suplex blitz was awesome. I mean, he just picks up the enemy and slams it on the ground, no matter how big! You won't believe how long it took me to understand that Suplex only worked on grounded enemies, though.

Yes, all the characters (well, except Gau) have Desperation Attacks. These attacks randomly happen when the character has low HP (and you choose fight? someone help me out here) I have only seen two myself, Sabin's "Tiger something" and Terra's. I love keeping full HP!

Don't believe Umaro does either.

Also, http://www.cavesofnarshe.com/ff6/characters.php has average-quality screenshots of most of them.

I definitly liked Aurabolt the best, with Firedance and Airblade tying for second. I always thought Bum Rush was a little too powerful to be fun to toy around with, and I like elemental attacks too. Sabin would be a great Ninja!

Fire Dance. It's moderately easy, strong and fast, and has a very nice little animation going on.

Anyway, I say Fire Dance because it totally crushes everything when you first get it, and a good while after too. tongue.gif

My favorite move with Sabin would be Spiraler, because I don´t have to see him in that fight thumbdown.gif ; seriously this time I´ll go with pummel, cuz is easy, effective and pierce defenses.

Suplex. It's just hilarious, especially when you do it to grounded bosses like the Phantom Train. Makes me wonder why the guy starts out doing 'normal' damage with regular attacks if he can effortlessly lift a freakin' train!

Fire Dance. Great way to conserve MP and hit all enemies fairly early in the game.
