Similar to FFVI's counterpart thread, this one is designed to reflect reaction towards CoN now covering FFVII. The top five answers have to do with reaction to the news, the bottom five don't.

I just recently played it again, but all I do now is get sources to "munchkinize" my party. I have thought about restarted, but currently I'm working on a restarted FFT file which always takes precedence.

Since I had to start new games or continue old ones when I was working on the section, I think option four is closest to my "status" right now. Though I haven't actually played it in a really long time... >.>;

My love for FF7 has deteriorated greatly after playing FFT for so long. At the moment, I'm not playing the game, but I reserve a spot on my memory card for at least one annual run-through. I would actually start a new level tomorrow if I wasn't playing FFIX.

I'd love to start a new game of FF7, but I'm just so bogged down with school that I don't have time.

Since the launch of the section, I've had the desire to play it again. Thing is, I'm currently in the middle of Tony Hawks' Underground 2 for the GameCube, and don't feel like switching around all those leads again.

Want to play it, but don't have the money. Once I get the money, though, I'll buy the PC version and I'll be ready to wipe out Sephiroth!!! WHOOO!!!!

A word of warning on the PC version: it's pretty difficult to get it working well on a modern system. Not impossible, but by far the best way to run FF7 is on a Windows 9x system with a 3dfx graphics card.
On a better system, I'd tend to recommend PSX emulation, though you can't get the graphics looking quite as nice, and you don't get the dialogue fixes from the PC that way. As for me, I last played through in 2002. I've briefly been back since, mostly for data checking and graphics captures, but I just don't have much time now. I still have very fond memories of my first run through the game, but personally, I don't think any FF I've played replays especially well. |

I played it a long time ago when we were beginning to get some steam in the FF7 section -- I was doing screenshots. Then my game magically died (the save file had an error or something, I'm not really sure) at the Temple of the Ancients and screenshots were forgotten until about 2 weeks before launch.

I voted "Haven't played in a while, and don't plan on playing anytime soon" because I've beaten that game enough times to beat Sephiroth in my sleep (Not that that's a great feet, but you know what I mean).

Only I played until Cd 2, because of Cd problems,but I see that bugenhagen speaking that is all I can reach ...too bad I love this game, but got only a Spanish version...bad bad luck

I finished it once before CoN's FFVII section and I re-started afterwards, but I haven't played it in a while. FF1 and FFII are also games that I have started games for, but never got around to finishing them. Not that they're boring or that I don't like them, mind you. Right now I am going through FFT and will replay FFVIII.

I played it long ago, when it first came out, and try to go through it again every once in a while, bi-annually at least. I just ran through it again (finished a week ago) for research on a fanfic I'm writing.
As a matter of fact, that's how I wound up here. I Googled up a map, and it gave me a link here for the map I needed. I happened to come back out of an idle curiousity, then stumbled into the forums. -------------------- |

Well, at the moment I' m near the end of disk 1 of my first time playing and I am sorta bummed out because I got it from my friend but he LOST THE 2ND DISK, so... I don' t really want to continue into the Temple until i can get it. Sucks.
