At 1:30 am this morning February 18 I finished watching the ending cinematics of Suikoden IV. At the end of the game my main party had reached level 60 and I did in fact get all 108 stars this time, so I actually got an extra cutscene.
I will briefly give my thoughts on the game. I will go more into detail when I put up a review on the new RPG review webpage I'm making. I would definately say that Suikoden IV is not the best of the series, but I did enjoy it very much. It opened up so many more directions that the series can go and I can't wait until the next installment, which with the way the game had me save after the credits rolled, I am inclined to think that you will be able to use your save data towards the next game, which makes me very excited. -------------------- Elena Indurain Currently Playing: Suikoden II |

I loved Suikoden II and III, even though I've never owned II, but IV didn't do it for me. The ship travel was even worse than that of Wind Waker, the combat system was not as well-done, and the tactical ship battles did nothing to enhance the gameplay. Personally, I think it's the worst in the series, but the plot was interesting from what I saw and it was cinematically awesome, as usual.

I kind of liked Suikoden I, I loved Suikoden II, I didn't know what to think about Suikoden III, and I hated Suikoden IV. How's that for consistency?
Suikoden IV is probably the weakest in the series for me. Something about the game just didn't add up. -------------------- "I always have a quotation for everything - it saves original thinking." ~Dorothy L.
