This looks like a great game!
Can you get it for the UK for either the Playstation or the PC?
If so I imagine it's still very difficult to get hold of a copy. Any ideas how I could get a copy of the game?

How similar would you say this game is to Vandal Hearts? I recall someone telling me these two games have many similarities.

Thanks for any answers in advance. cool.gif

FFT was never given a European release. It's also never been released for any platform other than the PSX. You could import a copy from North America (or Japan, if you understand Japanese), but you would have to either get a PSX from the same region or modify yours with a chip that disables regional lockout.

Tactics isn't terribly hard to find. It was given Greatest Hits status in 2001 or something, so you can find it in many American game stores for $10-15.

Cheers for your answers. I will probably have to go without playing this I'm thinking. Unless they remake it of course, mwahaha...

Oh well, no worries!

FFT is deeper, more polished, and a lot more fun that Vandal Hearts. VH has blood and a decent storyline, but FFT has the BEST STORY EVER. Seriously. No blood, but it doesnt need it (it has blood in cutscenes, however).

Buy FFT any way you can. You shall not be disappointed.

Get it any way you can, if you can't import it somehow, form, or another from the states or Japan (with proper translation). It is among the BEST games I have EVER played.

I personally feel that FFT is one of the greatest games ever made. It's basically a big chess game that involves not only movement, but timing, as well as height placement. Although it is easy to conquer, it is hard to master tongue.gif

I live in England and have FFT. I have a chipped playstation, which is therefore multiregional, and an american version of the game which i forked out for back on its release. 7 years later, i am still playing, it really is probably the best game ever! I suggest buying the game along with an "Xploder." this is a cheat disc in essence, but it also allows you to play import games on your Psx. I know its a hassle, but do it, you wiont regret it!
