Hello! Im new here. i found this site trying to find out how to use Monster Skill (squire ability in FFT) and said "i really like this site" and signed in. now, to know everybody here ill start with a question: what is your favorite element?

But anyway, I like Ice, never failed me yet. Though Wind comes in a VERY close second.

Personaly, I'm a big fan of lightning, always a good and easy to get spell. I agree though, wind definetly takes second.

I dunno if this could be considered an element, but i really like psychic, with the invisibility and the forcefields and the lifting of the people, gragenshoel...

Sorry, but the frink is a gettin to my noggin.

A clear second would definately be ice, and a near third would be wind.

Ice, definitely Ice.

Ice, Thunder, and Wind are my favorites in my opinion.

I'm a big water guy. My family have all taken part in water-based competition, my 63-year-old grandmother is doing some swim in Greece next year, circling some island, and all my family have at some point been lifeguards. Living on a 45-square-mile island, I see the sea alot - jumping into it from great heights is about all I do in the summer, I'm just really at home tumbling about in the water and swimming.

There's also the fact that water-based magic is useful and damaging. Drown a foe, and ride a tidal wave. Phwoar!

Water all the way.

I like swords.
Or rather... Fire!!
must immolate the enemy.
Or any spell that siphons the love out of the universe to apply it to destructive ends.

Thunder. Yum. Bolt 2 in FF7 was the coolest looking spell in the world when I first saw it (until I saw 3) and I just kept casting it over and over on everything.

Well, its good to see some ice fans, cuz of da ppl i know, NO one likes ice , and most like fire. Heres my list of elements from best to worst:
Ice, Water, Lightning, Wind, Poison, Dark, Light, earth, Fire.

lightning. 2 reasons:
1: diablo II. lvl60 charged bolt!
2: 8bit theater. bolt 2 motherf****r!

Anyway, I prefer Holy to any element, then going on down like this:
2. Dark (Hadoken!)
3. Non-Elemental (like flare or ultima)
4. Wind
5. Fire
6. Ice
7. Earth
8. Lightning

I'm not much for elements, though, I like swords!

Game-wise ice. Ice has proven in my opinion to be the most useful element. It's great against fire beasts, insects and some beasts, it's good against machines and reptiles, so its only 'real' weakness is ice and water beasts. Now to copy him ^

2. Holy: Good for taking out demons and gives white mages something to do when no-one needs healing.
3. Lightning: Take out machines or water fiends making it better in 7 and 8 than any other.
4. Wind: Good for taking out those bothersome flying beasts.
5. Fire: Ice fiends don't like it, nor do some mammals...but it lacks any real punch.
6. Water: It never really took off until 10, before that it was more a 'power spell'
7. Dark/Poison: Kinda meaningless, there arn't a great deal of 'holy beasts'.
8. Earth: Earth monsters absorb it, air monsters avoid it. What's it targeting again?

I have always liked thunder most because in alot of games that didn't have the ability to select all enemies it would usualy hit all enemies and theres also the fact that lightning spells always look cool.

Lightning/Bolt have always had some cool animations. Have to go with that for my favourite element.

Non-elemental attacks are what I go with. I suppose if that wasn't considered an element, then I'd go with Poison or Wind.

Fire and Darkness/Shadow elementals have always been my personal faves. I would imagine how cool it would be to combine the two. Holy would come in as a very close second.
