I went to a cheat codes site once, and they said that you can change any character into a dark knight by stealing Gafgarion's stuff and equipping all of it to a knight. Is this true?

I think I'll go with Rangers51 and say no. Something like that seems too far fetched. You're probably best not to waste your time. MAYBE if all of his equipment was like the Genji stuff where you can only get it once, it might make more sense. But since you can buy all of the stuff Gafgarion has on, what would prevent you from just buying and equiping his stuff?
Edit: With the exception of the blood sword at the execution site. However you can get those from the fur shop. Didn't think so. I think that you might be able to use a gameshark to do it, but I'm not sure because I don't have one.

Rumor questions are false 99.9% of the time. Sometimes one comes along that seems right (like getting the Blue Mage class by mastering all magic skills before Sand Rat Cellar) but you can either feel that they are wrong or go all the way and find out their wrong (you can't master all magician classes by then; need Zodiac).

Yeah, even in the first Chapter. =/ I had heard from a friend that you could make Ramza a Blue Mage (or at least open it up) by mastering each magic-casting class before you went to rescue Elmdor. I dismissed as false, of course, but I couldn't help getting my hopes up a little as I mastered each class. It was my fault for leaving the Summoner class last, I guess, because all I needed was Zodiac. The worst part about it was that I had played the game numerous times before that and I didn't realize it until I had wasted all those hours. So, the myth was debunked. I maxed out the characters levels for the hell of it and just played through the game regularly.
