Quote (ghaleon1103 @ 15th January 2005 20:23) Quote Sounds similar to mine - in FFVII, I leveled all characters to 99 and got 3 full sets of all the Master materias (one full set for each of member of my main party) by running around in the circular swamp area in Sephiroth's dungeon. By the time I was done, I had over 99 hours... That swamp is a wonderful place. Nothing beats getting elixers from master tonberries and giving them to the magic pots, and coming across movers in the meantime. |

I have a few that probably deserve mention
Getting the Ultima Weapon, Save the Queen, and Save the King in Kingdom Hearts, as well as beating Sephiroth at level 90. This and I got the game five months ago. Obtaining and fully powering all of the Ultimate Weapons in FF X and beating Nemesis. Beating Ruby and Emerald Weapon in FF VII And what I believe to be my FF crowning achievement: Getting Excalibur II in FF IX. EDIT: Oh, and I set up a Chrono Trigger team armed with three prism dresses, three moon armors, six prism helms, Magus's gloom stuff, everyone's best weapons, and star levels for everyone. It took me two New Game + replays and a helluva lot of leveling up, something that I usually hate. This post has been edited by laszlow on 24th January 2005 01:50 -------------------- |

Greatest accompllishment?
Killing Emerald Weapon in Final Fantasy VII with the utmost of ease, and didn't die once, despite the fact that everyone I had talked to told me he is the hardest monster in all of Final Fantasy (at the time). ![]() |

Quote Greatest Square Accomplishment? Being able to sit through over two thousand hours of Final Fantasy Tactics without finding it less entertaining than the day I bought it. I don't know if I have quite that many hours, but FFT has definitely drained away at least 1200 hours of my life and it's absolutely just as entertaining, often more so. With that said (FFT is the greatest game ever), my greatest Square accomplishment comes from, you guessed it, FFT. I suppose that with the same lack of a life anyone could do it, but heregoes............ All characters mastering all classes including Ultima for Ramza and Zodiac for all. (exception: Worker 8 and Byblos) All Weapons and Equipment All Propositions (Treasures and Hidden Lands of course). |

Quote (imperialstooge @ 18th January 2005 09:02) Not exactly an accomplishment in the usual sense of defeating some megaboss or getting all of the lores or something, I tested my patience by ignorance I guess... Before I learned how to turn on/off layers in ZSNES, I navigated my way through the Mist Cave in 4 and the Ship Graveyard in 5 just by feeling my way around... All you could see in the mist cave was a screen of solid white, and just the water tile pattern in the shipyard. When I finally had the mist dragon text pop up and warn me I was getting close, I just about wet myself... er.. *cough* It was ridiculous and tedious but looking back I guess it was an accomplishment, even managed to get most of the treasure I think. I don't recommend trying it though. ... MWAHAHA! LOL! I know that, same thing here. Back in the old days of emulation when ZSNES seemed to had no transparency effects... I didn't knew about the layers... And didn't knew the games, so I thought that's the way the dungeons are supposed to be! I remember that I was once stucked in Chrono Trigger too because of this, in the future time there's much transparency effects and stuff. I remember spending hours in just walking around in the sewer because it seemed there was no other location to go to... |

FFVII : beating Ruby Weapon with only Cloud, No materia (Means only attack/Limit/Item)
took me an hour and half ![]() Beating Emerald Weapon as fast as possible (4:32 or 272 seconds is my best time, LOL with only KOTR it takes 15 minutes...) 4,3 (4 300 000 000 YEP ![]() ![]() FFIX: Getting all items and learning all skills. Oh, and learning that Qu's are too ugly. FFT: Being a master is enough for me ![]() Legend of Mana: Unable to keep 1 hit killing the last boss at hardest mode with minor damage techniques.
