What do think is the most annoying boss to you, I actualy have a few:
Gaffgarion. Queklian. Weigraf. but keep in mind I am only at the Yuguo Wodds, so there hasn't been to much bosses for me. (Izlude is a runner-up. in my opinion.) |

Weigraf. Only because the Ramza Solo battle with him.

In terms of skill, I'd say Zalera has the most annoying skills:
[Darkness] - 100% Blind [Chicken Race] - 100% Don't Act [Spell] - 100% Stop [Nightmare] - 100% Sleep or Death Sentence [Toad2] [Gravi2] - If successful, target's HP becomes 1. [Confuse2] [Flare2] [Sleep2] [Blind2] Not hard in terms of strength, but I'd definately give Elmdor's beast the FFT Encumbrance Award. -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |

I'd have to go with Velius...That bitch's Cyclops nearly killed all my friends when I first beat him...This gets even worse with the 4 Demons that come with him...

The most annoying boss in FFT is probably Elmdor, just because you have to make sure to steal all his stuff before you kill him.

Marquis Elmdor was really annoying on account that Celia and Lede kept using that 100% Stop move, killing Rafa soon after.... I had to at least try 10 times before she actually went for help instead of attacking....

same happened to me that battle was most annoyning cause you have to start out on the lower level and cant really have any of your guys on top wich limits you, unless you have like lancer, archer, summoner, black mage, time mage, preist, or something els not to mention the fact that elmdor had that cheap smauri trick and it seem liked his sword was immortal.

I know... that's what made it hard.... everyone started low, I would have lost if my summoner hadn't use Holy at the last turn, defeating the assassin chick...

I had troubles fighting Velius. My party was too underleveled and dependent on a Ninja Ramza.
Annoyance would be Meliadoul, who kept breaking irreplacable equipment while I tried to steal Chantage. I guess the final round with Elmdor and his two girls would classify as well, but not out of difficulty, but out of pure irritation. -------------------- Visions of Peace - Four Generals, One Empire, and the Returners caught in the middle. |

The most annoying fight was the one-on-one duel against Weigraf. It wasn't exactly the hardest, but it was irritating. I guess I could also count those times I actually tried to get the secret items in the Worker fight, too, since they were definitely tedious.

Definitely the Lionel Castle Gate mission, where the three archers and two Knights are setup in hard-to-get-to places. The three archers bugged me the most. With the time it takes to get up there, they had already taken a significant chunk out of my HP. And, with the rocky terrain of the castle walls, getting a Revive to agree with me was damn near impossible. The Knights haven't even been factored in yet! Geomancy was a pain because of Hell Ivy's percent to cast 'Stop' on me. I won't even begin to rant about the Floating Knight, one I have deemed the Devil himself. With all this said...I'm off to drown my woes in a bottle of Vodka.

Well, I finally got to Riovanes castle, and I have some new annoyances.
I hated the Yardow battle 'cause of those damn Ninjas, and Rafa didn't help much either. Secondly, Riovanes castle. It only took their entire party six turns to annihilate my best men, forcing me to reload!!!!!!! *grrrrrrrrrr* -------------------- "No matter what happens, I will always be with you... forever." ---- Pocahontas, Pocahontas "Only those who are already at the top are rewarded without trying."----- Delita Hyral, Final Fantasy Tactics http://www.ffshrine.org/fft/fft-midi/1-42-back_fire01.mid ---- My favorite FFT battle song |

Zalera, definatly Zalera. Because he cheats and uses Flare 2. Medioul only got in the way because I couldn't chose 5 of my home grown characters. All of those undead also sneaked up behind me because I had to focus on Zalera. I only won because of Malak of all people was in his original job and he had a rod to poke Zalera with. I would say Velius but that was more his archaic demons that were annoying rather then the boss himself. That and when I did beat Velius, I had more then one person standing. As for Elmador, the only annoying thing about him was stealing all of his goodies.

Altima took the longest to take down. I eventually had to turn the game off the first time but the second I tried it with giving everyone two weapons and Altima fell after everyones turn.
I guess The Most Annoying Boss Award goes to the first one because he kept killing everyone with death sentence. -------------------- I am ruler of the universe! Nobody can ever hope to destroy me! Yeah... Similarly to most everyone here, I've a big hate on for Velius. I've beaten, so far, once out of my three various attempts with a Monk. Failed as a Summoner, failed as a Ninja (couldn't even surpass Weigraff like that!). Now I'll be trying as a Lancer, though I think I'll stand a good chance.
Aside from that, I remember Elmdor being a biatch. Bout it. -------------------- Games on the Go Final Fantasy VII Final Fantasy: Four Warriors of Light Baldur's Gate Too much to play, so little time! Greg |

i had troubles with lotsa bosses: elmdor and his assassins;the girls were powerful, annoying and a bit pretty. Wiegraf (the 1-on-1), no way to beat him, had to use haste to cast my bolt3's 2 times per turn, green beret to raise my speed and be the first to act and teleport to escape da guy, the most annoying things were when he silenced me with lightning slash, or missed my magic, or teleport failed and his zodiac soul velius was really hard 2, but queklain was not much of a challenge for me

Velius for sure. Saved my game right before it, couldn't beat him and had to restart. Now I never save my game in Riovanes castle cause I'm not taking that chance again. And the battle afterwards with Elmdor. Dumb Rafa. Chapter 3 in general when going through the game the first time can be tough if you're level is low.

Hardest boss battle was... Zalmo. No, I'm kidding. Probably the damn solo battle against Wiegraf (it took me me three tries before I realized to use a Chameleon Robe to negate his Holy Sword abilities). The rest of the battle (including the rooftop against Elmdor) were pieces of cake with my Ninja and Math Skill-equipped Wizard.

Well, not really a boss, but running into a group of red and purple chocobos when you're trying to level up some less experienced characters or job classes, especially when you don't have anything real good to counter them (like Paralyze or Don't Move). I sucks big time even more when it's mostly mages in your party and you can't do enough physical damage in one hit to kill them outright (they cast Choco Cure every time they get at or near critical, almost impossible to kill.)
Then there's always running into a group of "heavy" monsters around that one level in the south with the big hill. Behemoths and Tiamats and their relatives for everyone. Or then there's running into a group of ninjas on the swamp level, with no one in your party equipped with catch. |

I haven't had any hard battles except Marquis Elmador on the roof. He used Murasame and the assasains kept using the stupid Shadow Stitch skill. I had to put really crappy armor on my people to kill them without getting stopped. If you want a really good combo for that battle, breed 4 red chocobos and they can use choco meteor to take one of the assasains out first.
I didn't really have any trouble with any of the other bosses because most of them were a lower level than me. I always do some very agressive leveling up before I do any special battle.
