Go outside and cannon yourself onto the roof to get 100 lives after meeting yoshi along with a new triple jump. You can now also fly into the area behind the castle doors. I always do anyway tongue.gif. Bowser also gives a different ending speech than if you had beaten him ASAP

MogMaster got it. I always hated that stupid triple jump, I'd rather be able to kick off walls then have random invincibility.

Theres actually another thing you can get as well, when you visit the original snow level you can race a huge penguin instead of the regular sized one. Which makes it alot harder to move around it.

I know its old news and all but isn't the game Strife543 called the Lost Levels? Maybe its different regeionaly but I was just playing All Stars this morning and I didn't see any "Lost Kingdoms". Oh well, it doesn't matter, I just don't want any misconceptions going out into the world.

In SMB2 how do you get the Starman and the Stopwatch? There are slightly different mechanics to obtaining each one so you'll have to list them both.

Edit
Sorry MogMaster you're right, I looked at the date on your post then The Ancient's post which had the answer and made a small mistake with the dates. Sorry. I'll send you a PM right now so you can edit your post with the answer then I'll give my guess and that'll bump the topic as normal. Oh and no need Strife532, I haven't checked up on if it has aliases or not anyway, I was more curious then anything. Not to mention that I hate it when false rumors start out of the middle of nowhere.

EDIT 2. Re-adding the question that Glenn Magus Harvey answered so that future readers won't be confused as to how it became his turn. What happened exactly is that I made a mistake with the dates and thought two days were up when they weren't. The question was actualy MogMasters when I asked this. When I found out, I retracted my question and restored it to its rightful owner as shown above. However, Glenn Magus Harvey already answered the above question before that happened so when it became my turn again, I gave the it to Glenn. Sorry for any confusion guys, I'm a real idiot sometimes . . .

Stopwatch: pull 5 big radishes.
Starman: grab 5 cherries. (Cherries in sub-spaces count too.)

I may be an idiot but I'm also the worlds biggest Mario fan. The answer is the Reznor Fortress in the Forest of Illusion. So many sweet, sweet extra lives and all can be gotten by using a cape to take a trip over a ton of Lava. The alternate exit is a brown door if I remember correctly. If I'm correct GMH can have the question because he got the answer I was looking for.

Wait...so whose turn is it?

EDIT

Tonepoet has informed me via PM that it's my turn to ask a question, so I'll ask...

Now, I'm not the biggest Mario fan of all time, so I'm not that knowledgeable, but I'll try to put up a thoughtful one:

What two characters in Super Mario Kart were used to run all the known world records?

Eh... Toad and Koopa?

I'm thinkin' DK Jr. might've been one instead, so I'm not so sure...

I know one of them is DK Jr. The other one is hazy so I'm gonna guess Koopa.

Think high top speed. The rest of the factors, like acceleration and control, can be taken care of through extremely careful gameplay.

Bowser and DK Jr.

Strife543 has it.

Heh, top speed concours all ^-^

Well, here's a pretty basic one:

In super Mario world (snes) how soon can you reach star world, (Ie: place with blue, yellow, red yoshis) and how do you get there?

There are mulitple entrances, One behind the ghost house in donut plains, One on the left side of the vanilla dome, One down a vine from the butter(maybe cheese) bridge, One behind the reznor fortress in the forest of illusion, and One right before bowser's front entrance.

They are all found by finding alternative exits to zones. Each one of them leads to a star, which can all be connected by finding alternative exits in the star world, with the exception of the final star world, which has an alternative exit that leads to the special world.

I believe the path to most of the star worlds requires you to find a key to put in a keyhole at some point.

The Ancient is mostly correct but the question also asks how soon can you get there. That portion of the question is not covered by his answer, you can get there as soon as you defeat seven levels (some via seceret exits) entering from the Doughnut Plains entrance.
Also, The Ancient made a small mistake. The seceret exit to Cheese Bridge leads to Soda Lake not a Star. However, you have to beat Soda Lake to get to the star anyway. And, for those who were wondering, both Butter Bridge areas have no secerets so they lead directly to the fourth castle. They aren't required playing to get any of the stars.

I was aware you had to go through soda lake, I was just giving general directions. I didn't feel like typing a walkthrough on finding the star roads.

Sorry Ancient, but since Tonepoet elaborated and answered both questions it's Tonepoet's question ^-^

Good try though.

Yes, I know, it's trivial but that's why it's called trivia. Sorry if I seemed rude though, that wasn't my intent. Re-reading the post I think I could've worded it a bit better but it seems just a tad bit late to change it now.

Anyway, I've been taking far too many questions so I'll put the next one is up for grabs. Ater all, it's nice to let other people share the fun too. happy.gif

Yoink.

For an easier one, who are the ghosts in the time trials for Mario Kart 64, and what levels are they on?

There might be other ones on the respective courses, but those are the only ones I remember w/ absolute certainty.

No offense taken btw Tonepoet, and i think it was fair that strife gave ya the answer. I just wanted to make it clear I hadn't forgotten Soda Lake, memories are treasures to me at this old age.

Okay, the two day limit has definatly passed by so I'll go ahead and ask a question. To keep things interesting, I've come up with a unique question. If anybody's fammiliar with the game, it shouldn't be too hard though or at least so I hope.

What I'm going to do is give an accurate, semi-detailed discription of a stage in a game. What I want you to do is tell me what stage it is and what game it is in. Okay, here we go:

Helicopters and witches in the first room then 5 rotating doors are in the next. The number 3, "RUN AWAY, HURRY!!" and a Red Nose can possibly follow shortly there after. Once you're done with that you enter a room with transforming blocks and a red door. A fammiliar, envious, face appears and eventually turns into a giant. Finally, Luigi at last.

What in the world am I talking about?

Anyway, I've got a couple of hints prepared just incase too many people are confused. However, I might not need to use them if somebody remembers this particular stage. Good luck everyone.

To be more specific, it's Bowser's Castle, the whole stage by the description from start to finish

Wow, that was fast. It took me longer to come up with this then it did for it to be answered. Well anyway, it's time to get to the point. And the question goes to:

Sherick

Sherick was more specific and actually said what stage it was. I've got to give credit where credit is due though, that was a good guess there The Ancient, it was just a smidgen off though.

Just to clairify, I might like to say this is only a discription of the level as it is if you go through door 3. Also the full stage name is called "King Bowser's Castle 6-8". If you go through door 3, RUN AWAY, HURRY!! is in a help box and you get a recolor of Tap-Tap the Red Nose which you cannot kill under any circumstance.

Okay, you're up Sherick.
