first, the question. is Shadow supposed to be a girl? because when i rescued him/her in the cave on the Veldt, Edgar said "her" instead of "him".


and now the problem. i bet the Atma Weapon in the Colloseum. i won the match and recieved the Graedus. but now, my Atma Weapon's gone. WTF!!!???

Shadow is a man. The game says her because if you don't rescue Shadow on the floating continent, Relm is in that spot, and the game doesn't distinguish between the two of them text-wise.

Second, you lose what you bet and you win the prize.

nope, i had one gold hairpin when i did the battle, and i had one gold hairpin after the battle.

Wagering gold hairpin gives you a dragon horn. Wagering a dragon horn, crystal orb, or ribbon gives you a gold hairpin. Plus you can find a lot of gold hairpins anyways, so you most likely had 2 already or you wagered something to get you another.

well, i'm apparently not getting my Atma Weapon back. i think i can if i can find a way to beat Chupon. cuz one time i wagered an item and he came up and his wager was "????????". if that doesn't work, i don't know what to do. is there maybe a second Atma Weapon somewhere?

To my knowledge, there is no second atma weapon. And the "???????????" prize is the striker if im not mistaken.

Sorry you can't. I remember the ????? battles. All you ever get is Cat Hood and Merit Award. Good items but they aren't Atma Weapon. Sorry, there is only one to my knowlege. Better luck in the colleseum next time.

Role reversal at its finest.

You can get another atma weapon in the game, but by the time you can get it the game is pretty much done.

Possible spoilers: highlight to view

The boss named "Sleep" on this page will give you an atma weapon if you steal from her... but that's basically the 2nd to last boss in the game during the "tower of enemies" against kefka.
