Malak. Rafa can find items, but Malak is just bad.

I let malak join cause i want all the charectors pluse i find his attacks though they maybe random pretty strong if you ask me. He is good as a fighter too with his high brave level. Rafa i like her as a magic user and is my primary move find person she is really helpful i think. Agris i like alot her moves are powerful and if excuted right can do major damage and help end battles quickly. Worker 8 i like cause of his abilitys, not to mention the fact that he can attack just about any were on the field. The only thing i dont like is that he cant move over water. Cloud i like alot and was glad when i finally got him, his moves may take a while to charge but they have good range i think and are also very powerful, plus i think they kept well to his charctor and his limit breaks. Meliadoul i have found her very useful in alot of boss battles and really wished i could have gotten her sooner cause i needed her in some of the early battles.Boco isnt listed but i thought i'd list why i like him anyways. Boco i mainly use like a horse for charectors the have limited movement. But i also like his choco cure. The temple kight( cant think of how to spell his name right now) i find is most useful in battles against mages and such cause he can turn them into chickens and make it so they cant cast there spells which makes it easy to kill them. Cid i like alot cause he has alot of skills and is a good fighter to have. The person i voted for was reise, i dont like the fact that she cant equip weapons, takes for ever for her to learn ablitys that only mostly seem to effect dragons, mostly though i dont like how little equipment she can use and how she always seems to die after just one hit.

Orlanduuuuuu. What use is a character that you never play with?

It's true that Orlandu makes the game as difficult as breathing air, but he's great as a trophy character. I never use him unless I want to see Night Sword, actually. I guess he's useless in a different way than everyone else is in that he's so useful he makes everyone else useless.

I really don't see why some of you wouldn't use Orlandu. He is the best character you can get in the game, and you would rather use Rafa or Malak or some other one like that. I have noticed that once you master his Holy Swordsman job, he starts to get a little boring because he doesn't do very well in other jobs. If you have the equip sword skill, however, he can use his All Swordskill regardless of job.

Defiantly cloud.I mean,he starts out real weak.After I found his materia blade,I had to turn him into a knight and then put down is limit skill as his secandary ability.But ,he's still a powerful character.

Anyone who says Reis or Cloud simply cannot call themself hardcore. Once you get to levels in the 70s or so Reis has the highest natural magic power in the game and a natural attack power just a notch below Orlandu and Beowulf; Reis is the most dangerous member of my ridiculously overpowered party. Cloud is a worthy addition to your party if only for Climhazzard and Finish Touch, which have to be two of the best attacks in the game.

As for Meliadoul being useless, sure, Orlandu's way better, but the fact that she has better movement AND better speed than Agrias put her above everyone's favorite Holy Knight, in my personal opinion. That and the fact that she's female and can equip ribbons and perfumes, why are you complaining?

Then we have Rafa and Malak. Their base stats are decent at best, but their erratic ability featuring mediocre damage and bad charge times set them back. I voted for Malak in the poll, only becaues Rafa is female (and can thus equip feminine equipment) and she has better Speed than her brother.

I don't like the chocobos in FFT. Period. Malak is stupid because he's a mage and has low faith. His HP is too low to be a melee fighter and flat-out sucks anyways. At least Chocobos have some use(Choco Cure).

I chose Malak for a few reasons:

1. Rafa can find items, and Malak can't without lowering his brave, which would effectively getting rid of ANY chance of him being useful.

2. Like the people before me said, what good is a magic user with 36 faith? It's like Square put him in the game simply to say "Hey, here's a really horrible party member. Let's put him in simply to see how many people use him before they find out he's bad!"

It came between Malak and Cloud for me. In the end, I'd say Malak was the most useless for me.

Rafa and Malak sat most of the game out. The #hole heaven and hell thing is pcetty badass but .. It doesn'*t help out too much. However I think Mustadio is a bit useless, he didn't do anything special except shoot and disable, i (ean he can turn people into stone, whoopee, so can a ge*mancer, beowulf, an oracle, and chemists can shoot. It's sad when

I prefer useing generics but saying that Mustadio is useless is a bit harsh. A geomancer can only turn people to stone like 10% of the time and thats IF hes standing on stone (?) Although Mustadio can only turn skeletons to stone.
Also Mustadio has arm aim and leg aim which is EXCELLENT while playing through the game around the middle (when your not lvling like crazy) takeing away someones turn for 3-5 turns is a great thing in my opinion.

One more thing, you dont get beowulf till WAY later.

Malak is useless because....well hes not really useless i just dont use him. i suppose he has his virtues but i have my own agenda and hes not part of it.

as for you folk that say mustadio is useless need a catscan. i use him all the way to the end vs youknowwho...i train him as an archer and give him the yoichi bow and secret clothes, march his ass to the highest point on the map and fire off shots like im in WWII.

I hate the mission when you have to save Mustadio 'cuz he kept dying and I had to start over. I really don't see how a bullet can be deflected by a wooden shield.
